So it's breakfast right? 8am. I'm in the drive thru & I ask what the choices are on the 2 for $4 breakfast. He says it's a croissant or a biscuit. Pictured on the deal is a bacon croissant. Have I mentioned yet about making assumptions at a Burger King? I also ordered some pancakes & two small coffees with cream. I tell the man thank you who does not reply. (My first clue I'm in for a drive-thru event). I wait & wait. There's two cars in front if me. The line finally moves & it's my turn! So I'm waiting & he brings a bag of food & hands it to me. I told him I need my coffee so he goes to get it. He hands a cup to me & I say "I ordered 2 cups" & he sort of smirks & says "yeah I know" & then lifts another cup up that he was hiding! Lol. So I leave & get to my destination to discover he's given me no cream, the croissants are cold & have sausage, not bacon. If the man didn't resemble Eugene Levy I probably would be really angry right now but all I can do is feel I've been had on an SNL skit. This was my first go at trying Burger King for breakfast. I won't be returning & I now get why Burger King isn't really competition for the other fast food joints anymore & why their drive-thru's & parking lots are generally empty. The reason I tried Burger King is because the McDonalds next to it always has a long line going out to the street so I thought I could save time by...
Read moreWell as you know Burger King is a fast food place and pretty much all fast food places are similar whether it be McDonald's Wendy's Whataburger wienerschnitzel or which have you. what I do like about Burger King is that they are now offering a veggie burger called the impossible Burger which, although more expensive than the regular Whopper burger that they offer, is indeed a veggie burger. Of course they say they cook it on the same grill that they cook regular burgers so strictly speaking it might not be considered vegetarian in that sense. Although the burger is 100% plant-based it might get a few drops of non-plant-based grease on it from some non-plant-based burger. In addition, the impossible burger is very thin and they put a whole bunch of salad and things on top of it and to me it's a flimsy burger that tastes mostly like a salad in a bun. But the thing I'm raving about is that here is a national burger chain that's offering an alternative for people that want to try eating burgers that might be healthier than a standard burger at other fast food joints. So kudos to Burger...
Read moreI’m a doordasher and I had a very poor experience at this Burger King tonight. I accepted an order to be picked up by 12:36am. I arrived at 12:34am. The store is not supposed to close until 1am. The parking lot lights were off the drive thru menu was off. So naturally I knocked on the lobby door, no answer. I went to the drive thru window, no answer yet employees inside ignoring me. I knocked more until someone finally came. A girl rudely said she is closed and it’s obvious. I responded “okay yeah I see that but u have a doordash order that been accepted by your restaurant.” She rudely said she wasn’t going to make it and I exclaimed that y’all don’t close til 1 and she walked away from me literally. Then another worker came outside from the back and yelled at me and other customers waiting that they been closed for 30 minutes. And to leave before they call the police when all I wanted was to talk to a manager about cancelling this order . Extremely rude, I will be appearing in person to speak...
