I will never patronize this establishment again, and I feel compelled to advocate for my students with special needs. They had been eagerly anticipating this outing, planning for it for three weeks. Accompanied by three adults, the entire class sat there, filled with excitement yet hungry, while two of us adults stood in line. When it was finally our turn at the counter, we were informed that our order was too large, and we would have to return in an hour. Are they prioritizing the people behind the line? But we got there first. This was both disheartening and shocking. We couldn't fathom the reason behind this decision. We had only placed one order per person, totaling 13, the 13 of us were inside the building, plus a smoothie for the school bus driver. Was there a limit we were unaware of? We left with 10 hungry kids.
We had visited the establishment two weeks prior, informing them of our upcoming class visit and inquiring about pre-ordering. We were assured that pre-ordering was unnecessary, and we could place our orders on the day of our visit. Considering that all our students have autism and struggle with abrupt changes, they were deeply upset by this unexpected deviation from their carefully planned orders. Some were on the verge of a meltdown as their lunchtime extended far beyond their usual schedule.
Although they did not take our payment, we did not want free food! I'm at a loss for words—whether to label it as discrimination, sheer incompetence, or a lack of coordination. We simply did not comprehend the situation. My heart ached for our students. What was meant to be an exciting experience turned into a traumatic and...
Read moreExperience on April 24th at 12:10 pm - manager needs to be made aware of the poor customer service 4 employees gave to 8 customers. I ordered ahead online curbside… I arrive 10 mins after placing order. Sat in car a few mins, nothing. I go inside - 3 customers sitting at tables waiting on orders. One hard working gentleman working as hard & fast as he can. One girl washing windows- doesn’t greet any customers or steps away from washing windows to help. After waiting 10 mins and more customers enter store the one hard working gentleman runs to the back and says something to workers….. 3 additional workers begrudgingly shuffle out heads down in their own little worlds, smirking. One shuffled to the register- no smile - horrible attitude- addresses customer that has been waiting a bit with 3 other customers behind her. It was like the twilight zone…. All 3 of those gathered in the back need write ups & possibly shown the door. The girl washing windows needs to jump in and help. After waiting 30 mins, I had to leave the store empty handed. I gave that store money with nothing but poor attitudes in return. None but the hardworking young gentleman deserved any pay for that day. I live in DFW and frequent many TS - I’m greeted when entering the store & exiting. My order is delivered curbside w a smile & a compliment. Managers your employees lost my business. I won’t be using TS - this location to cater our business meetings. If those were my employees, they wouldn’t be any longer. Best wishes, you have your hands full with a bunch of ungrateful punks that don’t...
Read moreThe food is crazy good, but the customer service needs some serious work. On two separate occasions the kids that work there have completely let the ball drop. Once when I went in with my husband and son, we stood at the cash register and waited probably about three minutes before anyone even acknowledged our existence. There were easily six people making smoothies and one of them could have said, "Give us just a moment, we'll be right with you." Nothing. It was incredibly rude. I was upset about it but my husband convinced me not to say anything.
Then, today, I waited in the drive thru for ages. There were four cars in line total, it wasn't busy, and I watched as people walked in and walked out with orders in hand before I even reached the window. Then the girl at the window looked like she had no idea what she was doing. She made me wait longer while she shut the window and just stood there trying to figure out how to do her job.
The food is really great but I don't know if I can handle how unprofessional the service is here. Someone really needs to sit these workers down and explain to them how to deal with things when it's...
