Tonight was my first and last time to visit this place. When my friend and I first arrived the place was in a disarray. There were dirty tables everywhere and I thought they must have had a rush. As the time went on I realized that it was because no one cared to clean the place and tables were dirty the entire 2 hours we were there. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, and had dried urine on the toilet. The appetizer we chose was the cheese logs and they were pretty good. They had a sweet and spice flavor and were pretty big. The entree however was a nightmare. I got the Alfredo pasta and it was terrible. There was absolutely no flavor and hardly and sauce. I asked for extra sauce hoping that would bring flavor but after waiting 20 minutes the sauce finally arrived and it tasted like lemon juice. I asked the server if I could get something else instead and I went with a chicken wrap. The meat was very salty and dripping in grease but was so much better than the pasta. I felt sorry for our server; she mentioned that she was not feeling well and had asked to go home but they made her stay and work. She had no voice and was sniffling the entire time. The manager was no where to be seen so that may have been why it was a mess. The atmosphere of the place is nice and it seems like a good place to have a beer but...

Never again. By far, the rudest server I have ever encountered. He comes to the table, and as we discuss what to get as an appetizer, he interrupts us, "Excuse me, guys. Are we ready to order, or am I coming back? We say sorry we're ready. He takes a couple of orders, and when he comes to my wife, she tries to find what she wants on the menu, so he starts tapping his fingers on the table. OK, let that go. He comes with the food. Which was great, by the way. He got my friend's order wrong. When he was told about the error, he proceeded to tell him it was his fault and argued with him, saying he should have confirmed what he wanted. I finally asked him if he was going to correct the situation or argue with his customer. He then said I'm done and got the manager." The manager just made excuses for him (as he walked by, giving us ugly looks the whole time). Saying he acted like that because they were short-staffed. There is no accountability whatsoever, and absolutely no attempt to make it right. Do better. Either...

Wife and I stopped in recently, the aim of our visit were a few drinks, to be followed by food. We were seated in the bar area. We were greeted promptly enough, the young lady took our drink order. I had a tall beer while my wife ordered a drink from the bar. I spent the duration of it took to consume my tall beer, about 15-20mins, without ever seeing or hearing from our server again. Wife’s drink never arrives. We decide to close our tab and simply eat elsewhere. We wrangle our server, inquire about my wife’s drink, to no avail, request our ticket and pay it. We should add, the business was not at all busy when we were there. I’d call it 25-35% capacity, so fairly slow.

We leave zero tip, intentionally, only to find that a gratuity has been added after the fact, by someone within the business. We attempted to track down whomever altered our ticket, again, to no avail.

We will simply leave this review as a warning to other folks. There is a lacking of scruples within this...

We tried this place for the first time tonight. I ordered the Grown Up Grilled Cheese. It had a very pleasant, nostalgic and comforting taste. It reminded me of when I used to eat Grilled Cheese and Tomato soup. It’s Sour Dough bread with American, Smoked Gouda, Swiss and Parmesan Cheeses and Bacon. It was served with a side of marinara sauce to dip it in that appeared to have Parmesan sprinkled on top. The thing is though, you can’t really taste the fancier cheeses because they are overpowered by the American Cheese. It was still good, don’t get me wrong! But I do think that maybe replacing the American cheese with something else would be good idea so you can taste the different levels cheeses. The service was nice and we were seated and taken care of quickly. There are some other things on the menu I would like to try. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

I rate this place five stars based on a visit a few weeks back when I was passing through Amarillo on my way home from Arizona. I wanted somewhere to watch the Rangers play since my hotel didn’t offer BSSW. When I turned up, all of the TVs were on college football and other baseball matches (it was a Friday night). Kristen behind the bar kindly switched both of the screens on my side of the bar to the Rangers so I had plenty of space to watch the action! Beer was cold and bubbly, and the fireball shots were properly chilled. Indy, the other bartender, was also very attentive and welcoming. You can tell by their significant base of friendly regulars, extreme cleanliness of the facilities, and reasonable prices this is a great spot! Wish there was one near my home in Fort Worth! Will be back next time I’m in A-Town for sure 👍
