2 star for service. My wife called in ahead of time, about 1:25pm on Thursday and ordered 2 sandwiches, chips and drink. They estimated 15/20 minutes. I arrived about 1:35 and paid. I ask if it was to late to change 1 sandwich from white to wheat which they did and I appreciate. Then I sat down to wait expecting they would call out when done. Just after 2:00 I ask what the eta was and they ask around and grab a bag that was on top of their toaster looking thing. They bring it to the register and I'm filling irritated because I've been waiting 20 minutes and my food has just sitting back there and I ask why it wasn't called out. The cashier replies that I had to pay first. I reply I paid 20 minutes ago. Then the manager look dude with a shorter dark beard and dark hair says to me there where alot of call in orders before me, I took my food and walked out.

First irritation is they didn't call out my food when it was done, who knows how long it sat back there.

Second is excuses of pay and then of people before me. I don't even know why the second excuse was given when my food was just sitting back there. This had nothing to do with others before me, it had to do with picking up a bag and calling out my wife's name, instead of me having to ask because it's taking 20 longer than was estimated.

As irritating as having to wait for 20 extra minutes for my food, I would been fine if the manager just owned it and said they messed up, I understand mistakes happen, I make them...

Normally I don’t leave these kinds of reviews but I have to speak up.

I ordered two sandwiches and mac & cheese.

They screwed up both sandwiches. They didn’t take anything off I asked them to take off and they managed to not put on the extra items I paid for. Double screwup.

Now, the mac & cheese. It was colder than room temperature and it was eaten 10 minutes after it was “prepared”. Not to mention the cup was only filled 2/3 of the way. (Had to microwave it and just give it to my kid, wasn’t enough to satisfy a three year-old)

Again, I don’t normally leave these types of reviews but they literally screwed up every single part of the meal possible. I get people make mistakes like perhaps forgetting to heat the macaroni and cheese, but this is something I’d be very concerned about if I were corporate/management.

Firehouse subs is traditionally great food. It’s too bad this is the standard at this location.
