Disappointed with My Order

Yesterday morning, I stopped by Starbucks and ordered a grande caramel iced coffee. When I got to the window, I tipped $5, expecting my usual drink. However, what I received didn’t look like a caramel iced coffee at all—it was just iced black coffee with no caramel, no cream, no sweetness, nothing. I even asked the barista if it was correct, and she confidently said yes. I was honestly shocked.

Needless to say, I paid twice—once for the drink and once for the tip—only to start my morning with a disappointing, bitter mess. When you order a caramel iced coffee, you’d expect it to come with cream, sugar, caramel drizzle, and syrup—not just plain iced coffee.

I hope Starbucks can do better with consistency because...

I just wanted to say that this particular Starbucks is the BEST in the entirety of Central Iowa. I come to Ames m-th from De Soto IA, about an hours drive. I pass roughly 10 Starbu cks on the way here, plus the other 3 in town,and i have tried them all. The service, the greetings, the atmosphere, and consistent quality of my orders has been unmatched. And their cup greetings go above the mark. Yesterday i got "You are a Rock Star", today it was "You are so Amazing." These go above the average 'Thank you' or ' Have a Great Day!" and really drives that this Starbucks cares about consumer interaction. I get about 3-4 coffees a week, and this location has yet to disappoint me. Thank you so much, Ladies, you make my days...

Starbucks @ 1130 S Duff Avenue, Iowa. You guys are the bestest, nicest, sweetest, and definitely smartest representatives of Starbucks Coffee Company.
