I did not know that reading was optional. Since the new year anytime I have ever ordered something that order has been screwed up. Sad to say each and every time I have ordered it has been throught the dunkin donuts app.
This time, I ordered an iced coffee, bagel with cream cheese, and a turkey egg and cheese on engkish muffin. Here is the kicker. I ordered at a non peak hour. I go and pick it up and looked in the bag and saw the cream cheese on the side. Again I would understand if it was during peak hours. I turned the bag over and let the items, while still wrapped, slide onto the counter. A stodgy gentleman in a blue sweater and glasses (presuming to be part of the management team) approached me and asked if there was an issue. I provided the individual my issue. After a little bit of deliberation and fixing the issue I apoligized to the person for being difficult to which with no sincerity and much forced restraint of frustration was responded with "Well I do not know how you want me to respond with?"
From a person who has worked in kitchens and gone thru retail and customer services, that was what I would call "one for the books" If able to i would rate 0 to negative starts since the experience was horrid. I would inquire possible staff alteration. There have been times I have gone in and they messed up and when I inquired they were nice and addressed it with a form of empathy and sincerity. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a large restaurant with an abundance of empty seats (as in all of them) with a drive-thru, so the lids, napkins sugar, garbage are alllllllll the way back at the entrance. Poor design, cold, uninviting atmosphere not to mention chilly, over air-conditioned vast dining area.
But mainlyā¦Ugh. Worst donut shop ever! Grumpy, angry and rude customer service from the young gal at the order desk when we visited this afternoon. The folks who were in front of us were treated poorly when they politely pointed out that the employee didnāt didnāt order them the right drink. The worker then took the drink and made a dramatic show of angrily throwing it into the garbage rather than setting it off to the side and apologizing for the error. Iāve never seen anybody more miserable looking in my life. Anyway, the chocolate covered donut I got was stale, although the honey glazed and old fashioned were OK (I only had the honey glazed thoughā¦.) Perhaps if there was a different person taking our order our experience may have been different. Gosh, itās amazing how much one person can ruin an ordinary experience⦠Zero stars for service...

I went through the drive-thru and I dealt with a staff member(happy attitude A+) on the ordering menu/speaker, I said "I'm picking up order for Dianne" he says "ok, it's ready pull up" so I get to the window and he says "that's $4.??" š¤¦š¼āāļø "I paid through the App" he then looked confused and asked if I ordered the 2 drinks already madeš¤¦š¼āāļøNo I ordered 1 Medium Ice Coffee(w 4s/4m) then a minute later he hands me my coffeeš & says have a good day, I say "ummm I never got my empanada" can you pull up to next window 𤯠now I'm getting pissed cus what should of been quick, easy 2min experience is now a 7min and counting ordeal. So the manager on this Sunday(4/21) morning at 8:45ish comes to the window and says "We ran out of empanadas, sorry" š” I handed my Card to him and said "I want my refund for the amount of the Empanada only" .. 11mins I finally get to leave for work...
