First of all before I talk about the food,. this place was so unpretentious and the service was so friendly, my expectations of how good the food would be came up a little short of what it truly was. The brisket was, if not the best I've ever had, it was right at the top of the best I have ever had. There was an exquisite bark on the brisket, and it was so tender and juicy I was cutting it into bite size pieces with a plastic fork. The sauce was a delicious and a very good compliment to the meat but not overbearing at all. Unlike too many BBQ places, the prices were extremely reasonable. His brisket is marinated for several days. His chicken breast is juicy and flavorful (when most places it is dry). The sides are good enough to be a meal by themselves.
