Choco Fruit — Restaurant in Anaheim

This is the second time I order from them. The first time was door dash delivery. I ordered the belgian special, it was delicious. I liked it so much I decided to order again, this time pick up since I was out and about. This place closes at midnight and that is great if you have a late sweet tooth. It was a little difficult to find the place since it was not a stand alone location ( this is the anaheim location; they do have others.) This was inside of another restaurant that serves middle eastern food kebabs and such. The sign to choco fruit was covered by a big tarp that the middle eastern restaurant had. Even google maps was confused on the location but know its inside the shopping center inside a restaurant. Once I got inisde it was a little crowded for Sunday night, and the set up was confusing. It was dificult to discern what was the restaurant what was the choco fruit. A lady greeted me. I stood close by their register. Then a gentleman said " hello ," I think.... I told him I was there to pick up said my name and saw the only item that seemed to be waiting pick up. He basically used a loud voice and said " show me the items!" At this time I assumed he refered to the postmates pick up receit. The receit said " ready for pick up" then he said just that " this said ready for pick up, show me the items!" I told him what I had ordered, and finally found a screen where it said the item I needed to pick up. He then gave me the item. I recommend this place because I did like what I ordered I just now know the type of establishment and service I can expect. I dont expect eloquent service but I dont feel I needed to be yelled at, and a clear question as of to what I had ordered would...

Honestly I've been coming to this place for about 2 years and I always order the same thing and I always call it in since they told me before it's better to call ahead. 3 people were working and his lame excuse as to why they couldn’t answer because there phone isn’t working.

Well today I've experience completely the opposite I've called about 7 times and I even called the restaurant and they stated they were busy. I arrive to the store and there just standing there on there phones chit chatting and not doing anything. They just stare at me and that's when the young lady tells the young man to take my order. He didn't know what to do. He was charging me 20% for tip and I was paying cash excuse me? So at this point there talking in Spanish and obviously I speak fluent English and Spanish. Than he proceeded to do the orders with the SAME GLOVES he touched my money with very unprofessional and not following safety protocols. Never had an issue the older 2 fellows who are always here always make my visit very pleasant and this time was HORRIBLE. Let's hope they don't mess...

It's in the same mall as Stater Bros. I would recommend to get something fruity along with chocolate waffle, crepe, and such because it's very chocolaty you'll need it!

The chocolate syrup is warm and it becomes solid when touched with icecream (it tastes different this way!)

The crepe was chewy which I liked very much! The $2.25 icecream is single scoop price and comes in a cup. $1.99 comes in a cone but smaller in portion. Ask for whipped cream, it's no charge but much better with it!

Shakes are more on the watery side, but still delicious! Also, one photo with kiwi, pineapple, and other fruits in a tall cup is not a shake, but a cup of fruits with chocolate syrup and whipped cream :)
