Pepz & Pizza Eatery — Restaurant in Anaheim

We got a pizza from here no other words other than gross. Idk what it was but it didnt taste like it normally does. Couple weeks go by we decided to give them another chance. They took our order and repeated it back to us perfectly. People who came in after us received their food. Finally we get our pizza and they made it completely wrong. At first they tell us they cant remake it but they could put more sauce on top and send it back through the oven. We say no and argue a bit finally they come back and say they can do the sauce or remake it and we have them remake it. They write it down perfectly... another 45 minutes go by with new people getting their food before us. They finally come out and they made the pizza the exact same way as the first. The guy tried to argue with us on what we ordered and repeats back wrong what I said multiple times so we give up. Then try to tell us we have to pay for it. We insist we are not paying for a pizza we didnt want so he finally tells us we might as well take the pizza and hell give us our money back... walks around the counter and throws it in the trash and makes a big deal about us not having the receipt they never gave us. We dealt with 2 people and each had attitude and a clear lack of want to make the customer happy. Never coming back to pepz ever again. I'd suggest cortinas ot even better Maris! Cheaper and...

I was a little disappointed this last time I went. I ordered a pizza and picked it up and it was burnt, the cheese was very dark and the crust (bottom) over cooked. I was very upset, #1 that I drove to pick up the order, and know I gotta drive back to tell them about the pizza, #2 if the pizza maker(cook) noticed this, why did he give it to me like that? This place at one time was. Very good, I grow up eating Pepz food. They lost a customer.. I called them to tell them about the food and I was told I could bring it back, but why didn't I check it before I left??? I threw the pizza away, and will never return back..I believe a lot of food places know days, their associates don't know what customer service is, and management accepts this. This was my Sunday football hangout.. pizza and beer hang out with friends.. this will never happen again, just a little...

Haven't been here for a while was going to get the old pizza and antipasto salad deal from way back. Is a Monday night with Chargers game tonight so would expect people in there but no one there. Counter staff had their back to me didnt notice me there as he was looking at his phone. Got his attn and asked the prices since it has been a while. A large one topping and salad was totalling almost $40. Asked the price of just the pizza over $30. Decided to forget it and went to Cortinas where same pizza costing me less than $15 and just had to wait for it. Lesson learned. Place was great.for little league parties. Kids are grown and I guess the place has forgotten the demographic they served. Oh and this is at dinner time on my way there from work...
