I REALLY do not want to write bad reviews as a current food industry and hospitality worker. I also give some wiggle room for poorer service or food quality. However, this experience was beyond my threshold on what I can accept. I ordered take out, at this location accidently and NEVER again, and I arrived in the timeframe the food was supposed to be ready. After some name mix ups, what I assume is the manager of the overnight shift (midnight) because he was the only one wearing a grey polo and tan business shoes, found my food and gave me my order. Overall, straightforward so far. I decided to eat in the car to maintain as hot of a meal as possible since home was further than I had originally planned. I ordered the promo deal for the 5 chicken tender meal that's $10. I looked through my bag to get set up to eat, but I saw that my wavy cut fries were not in the bag. So I go back into the restaurant and ask the staff if I can get my fries. The staff gets their manager, the same one that helped me get my order, and he comes to me with a copy of my order's receipt. He explains to me that I do not get fries because I had not purchased fries (adding some kind of dollar value to the side of the receipt). I explain to him that I got the deal and that it says it is served with wavy cut fries (picture attached). We go back and forth over a handful of times explaining to one another that there should be fries and that there should not be fries, respectively. After much debate, the manager then tells me he will give me fries this time, but I should be careful next time to not order the appetizer tenders. I did not order those appetizer tenders and the website and my receipt that says chicken tenders AND wavy cut fries proves that. He got me lukewarm fries and I left to go eat. Once I finished eating, I needed to confirm if the manager claim's were legitimate. On my way home, I passed by two Denny's and asked the staff what would be in the bag. Both Denny's employees confirmed that it should have gotten fries to begin with. The argumentative nature of the manager that aims to be always right really put a bad taste in my mouth in regards to dining at any Denny's. Additionally, the manager claimed to me that other guests have came to him and complained about missing items that were part of their meal, but again claims that they were wrong in interpreting the menu and should have ordered correctly, like he did with me tonight. And based on the "responses of the owner", they do not care about bad or good reviews because they always provided a very bland response. Once it is business hours again, I will be contacting corporate about this issue.

It's a typical Denny's, with hit or miss service. My +1 and I come here on occasion when we're heading to downtown Anaheim for Disney, Angels games and whatever else. It's not hard to find and parking is never an issue. Inside, it's pretty roomy and there are a lot of tables. The place is kept clean and bright. Tonight we were coming in for a quick bite and served by a gentleman that we saw 3 times: once when we ordered our drinks, 10-15 minutes later (after we asked for a minute) to decide what to order, and once more to bring the tab. In between, he was nowhere to be found. I asked for ranch with my food, but he never came back and I got tired of waiting so I just did without it. I also ran out of my lemonade about halfway through my meal and almost choked on my food. Eventually, after I finished eating, I saw him come out of the back somewhere talking with a couple other workers, and he took another 15 minutes to finish his conversation before bothering to check on his tables. Even then, I practically had to flag him down to ask for refills on our drinks. The food (minus my missing ranch) was fine. I ordered a California Club sandwich with seasoned fries, and my +1 just ordered an English muffin and chopped bananas. All the ingredients in my sandwich were fresh, and the fries were just right, so no complaints there. The last few times I've come here, service has ranged from mediocre to great, but the food is always good. I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could, but the service keeps me from giving it a 4th.

MANAGER VERY VERY RUDE! - REFUSED TO GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK OR EVEN REPLACE THE MISSING COMBO. - Order taken time: 10:26pm TABLE: 40 EMPLOYEE ORDER TAKEN BY: Jaime P Names Juan at least that's what he gave me after hanging up on me. My husband came to this location & ate there and before leaving ordered 2 combos to go. He got home and noticed he only recieved 1 combo. He called location to speak to Juan and he was very rude to my husband basically accusing him saying he did recieve it and if we wanted to come back they will check the cameras and etc to verify. - Why go to the extent of checking cameras when you just made money off 4 people eating in your restaurant plus ordering to go 2 meals paying valid money? - Juan does not need to be managing anything. He's so very unprofessional about " making it right " with his customers. - He sounds very unsure of himself when my husband said order was missing he asked " Did you check the bag " my husband told him he wouldn't of thought he would of had to considering. Then the manager said he checked it and it was there. Why ask did my husband check it then say he checked it? Then blamed my husband for not checking the bag. We want our money back for this and I'll go to full extent until we recieve it & a apology from this owner for his conduct. Missing Item: All American Slam

I pray you don't encounter a server here named David. He was extremely rude to my family of 8. We were very cordial and asked a few questions and he reacted extremely rude. The manager didn't seem much better either. We were the only ones who walked in and because we weren't sure how many to say we were he seemed bothered we said 5 adults 4 kids, then 8 people, then 7 with a child. We had just exited the hustle and bustle of Angels stadium so we were noticiably tired. The manager said so 8? With an attitude that was completely unnecessary. But we said yes. It wasn't very busy so the attitude was unwarranted.

When we sat I asked if we could use 2 birthday rewards as me and my twin sister had one. I told him never mind because she had already used hers. He proceeded to say we couldn't use two in the same transaction and I said it was fine. We had already told him we only needed to use one. Then he said I needed my qr code, and I mentioned the code is for when checking out now then and there. It almost seemed like he wanted to trick me into showing him my code which would result in losing my birthday meal. He seemed to get offended when we asked for the valur menu because we're on a budget. His reply was that they didn't carry it. He seemed ridiculously offended by us asking very simple questions. He took our beverage order and brought us our coffees and hot chocolate but we didn't feel comfortable when he made it a point to continue talking to us in a very rude tone. After bringing our coffees and hot chocolates he walked away. We called him over three different times and he ignored us until we both me my mom and sister called him over to ask for creamers THEN he told us "we don't have anything other creamer just this". Had he told us before we would've ordered soft drinks as it was late. Then he came back much later and by then we started discussing leaving. He came back and for some reason decided now to ask if we'd be ordering together and I replied yes. My sister ordered a to go ordered and we asked for it to-go and refills of the hot chocolate to-go. He said ok but he would do it at the end. I explained that that would be all we wanted we were ready to leave. He said he was confused were we staying or leaving and I explained again just the to-go orders and the to-go refills. We got our receipt and went to pay. The waiter David followed us so the manager wouldn't deal with us and we wouldn't complain. The manager also very happily stepped out of the way. He didn't even ask for my receipt he literally took it out my hands and tried to say I could use my coupon for 20% off because it was a large order. I have used the app for years, he wanted to feel like he gave me permission and proceeded not to return my receipt.

He brought our to-go order and went back to other tables. After 5 minutes we had to ask someone else for our to-go hot chocolates.

PLEASE DON'T GO HERE, IT WAS THE WORST...
