We usually have a great time shopping at Company D in Anaheim. Itâs one of our favorite spots to score awesome deals, from ears, backpacks, and pins to clothing and household items. The selection is always fun, and most of the staff is helpful and kind.
However, our most recent visit was disappointing due to a very unpleasant interaction with an employee named Martha (from Whittier, according to her badge). Here's what happened:
After waiting in line with my 16-year-old daughter and two other children, I realized I had left my wallet in the car. I handed the keys to my daughter and asked her to grab it while the rest of us went inside. A few minutes later, my daughter came back and explained to the staff that she had already waited in line with us but had stepped out quickly to retrieve my wallet. Instead of understanding the situation, the staff insisted on calling a lead. Thatâs when Martha came over.
Martha spoke to my daughter in a very dismissive and unprofessional tone, telling her she could not enter and that I, along with my children, needed to exit the store and rejoin the line with her. When I came to the front to clarify the situation, Martha reiterated the same thing in a very rude and cold manner. She made no effort to listen or problem-solve, which felt unnecessary and disrespectful given the minor situation.
Feeling upset, I asked another employee if I could speak with the manager in charge. A kind young woman came out, listened to my story, and was clearly shocked by how the situation had been handled. She immediately walked over and spoke with Martha briefly, and kindly offered to walk with me to bring my daughter inside. She even apologized for the inconvenience, which I truly appreciated.
While Iâm grateful for how the manager handled it, the experience with Martha left a really sour taste. Her attitude was completely uncalled for and did not reflect the otherwise positive environment weâre used to at Company D. I hope this feedback helps improve staff training and customer service going forward.
Weâll still come back, but I hope no one else has to deal with that kind...
Read moreHello and GM. 8.24.25. I would like to start by saying I have visited the Company D Store multiple times over the years and never had a negative experience, until today. I have no problems with waiting in line to enter the store, but I DO have an issue with people who cut in line directly in front of me and 1 guest. I DO have an issue with first having told the 5 people who cut in line that was not ok not only for myself and my husband but for ALL the hundreds of people behind them that they are making wait longer. I DO have an issue with having told ELLLA from Guadalajara who was working the door, Carol from Ohio who was the working the line and BOTH of the these women stated the same thing, "There is nothing they can do". They gave differing reasons as to why the 5 people who cut in front of me "They could have been waiting, We don't know etc". In fact Carol who was gone, allegedly something with restroom, was nowhere to be found until it was time to allow customers inside the door. IF SHE HAD BEEN OUTSIDE ATTENDING TO THE LINE, THEN I BELIEVE THAT WAS A NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE I WOULD NOT HAVE HAD. Additionally, upon the entering the store Lorena who was also working the door at the time, asked me about me EMPTY water bottle. I understand that liquids are not allowed in the store; however, after waiting in line for an hour without sun protection, I did fill my water bottle at your drinking fountain inside the store. Upon leaving the store, LORENA had the audacity to confront me and raise her voice at me, and speak about the water policy. My reply to her was, "I filled it up inside the store, but your going to allow 5 people cut in line". The lesson I learned from this experience is: I will never wait in line again and I will cut in line because I can, either at the park when I visit or here at the store when I visit. It was made clear that the workers have no intention of enforcing MEANINGFUL RULES. No better than Knott' Berry Farm. I hope...
Read moreDear Disney Team, I am a fan of high school musical and I love Heart sliver holographic Together We Rock With Vanessa As Gabriella And Zac As Troy I'm beyond excited to share my thoughts on the High School Musical Mylar balloons! I absolutely adore the "Heart Silver Holographic Together We Rock" design featuring Vanessa and Zac as Gabriella and Troy . However, I think it would be AMAZING if you could produce a bigger version, maybe 32 or 36 inches, to go along with the standard 18-inch one. This larger size would be a HIT with fans like me, especially for Valentine's Day! The main characters, Gabriella and Troy, are the heart of the movie, and a bigger balloon featuring them would make our hearts skip a beat. I truly believe that all fans, especially those who love Gabriella and Troy and Zanessa, would be overjoyed with a larger size. I'm sharing my feedback in the hopes that you'll consider our opinions and thoughts and feedback. It would be fantastic to see a bigger version of this balloon, in the same design and shape, just larger! That would make it an incredible addition to the High School Musical community. Thank you so much for your time! I look forward to hearing from you. Love, Jess xxx...
