Trying about four kind of burritos so far showed me something. They run out of the popular one. It’s like why stay in business if your best seller runs out. Anyways other burritos taste pretty good. The drink selections is sugary. So I didn’t like that. The salsas and napkins are kept with them. About the salsas they good but they’re all the same red and some taste different so they aren’t labeled. Seating is pretty bad. Parking is also bad. I think what makes this place shine more is if what works doesn’t sell out and their flour tortillas are good worthy of a burrito for sure. The guisados that vary that go inside are pretty good. I just wish rice wasn’t a thing but it works. I’d rather get extra veggies but rice okay but not for me. I wasn’t expecting rice nor was I told it comes with rice. I think of rice as a filler sort of like getting a rice burrito in other places just too much. I can’t wait to come back and try the other ones and maybe try the one that sells out because there’s already a sign that has already been made to stop people from asking for them so that right there tells you they want to keep that going. I mean I still give it another shot. If they run out again my review will...
Read moreJuarez Burritos serves these long, skinny burritos that look like they’ve been on a diet but somehow still pack a punch. It’s 3 for $20 with a soda and hot sauce, which feels like a solid deal until you realize you’re about to enter the dangerous game of “which burrito will I regret not ordering three of?”
Spoiler: it’s the Chile Relleno burrito. That thing was so good I almost wanted to trade my other two burritos to the table next to me. Cheesy, flavorful, and the kind of burrito that makes you rethink all your past food choices.
The Chile Colorado was good, but heavy on the potatoes. Like, I came for meat, not a starchy surprise party. The Picadillo had some heat and ended up being my second favorite—kind of like the reliable friend who shows up with tequila. The Carne en su jugo was… fine. Not bad, but also not making the highlight reel.
Would I drive across town just for these burritos? Probably not. But if I’m anywhere nearby, I’m swinging through and ordering a Chile Relleno three-pack like it’s a value meal from heaven.
The bummer part was not knowing what each burrito was. Even the girl that brought them out to us couldn’t tell. But I do know you can’t hit wrong...
Read moreI've been wanting to try this place for a while now and was finally able to on my way to a baseball game this week. The burritos were bigger than I had expected and packed with flavor! Below is a list of flavors (in order of my preference) I tried and my honest opinion: Chile relleno- this one is a must try! It was by far my favorite and it was huge! Carne en su Jugo- very flavorful and tender Birria- really good. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the meat could have been a tad more shredded or serving it with a small side of consume maybe. Chicharron- this was the only one i didn't really care for. The flavor was really good, but I wasn't a texture of the pork. I was expecting a crispy chicharron, not a stewed one, but that's kinda my fault. I should have known it would have more of a texture similar to cueritos or something. Salsa was flavorful, but not too spicy for those who are sensitive. It sits in a small parking lot right off the freeway, but I was able to find parking. Overall the food was fantastic and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I'd visit again when...
