We visited the park on the day before the Lunar New Year event started so we thought we wouldn't be able to try out any of the Lunar New Year items. But to our surprise, they opened up some of the stalls and Paradise Garden Grill had the LNY items on their menu.
We tried their shrimp lo mien, korean barbecue chicken and mango pudding (ordered via mobile order). There was a bunch of covered seating area right next to it, so it was a good place to eat lunch and stay out of the rain that day.
The korean barbecue chicken was the best dish! It was almost half a chicken and the meat was tender and tasty. Just this one dish would've been enough for two people to share.
The shrimp lo mien might've been good if they didn't add szechuan peppers to it. The thing is I don't think it stated szechuan peppers in the menu description because if it did, I probably wouldn't have ordered this dish. For those who cannot handle spicy food, this is not the dish to order. Sadly we ended up tossing the whole dish away as it was unbearably spicy.
Mango pudding was decent, it was reminiscent of the mango pudding you'd find at dimsum...
Read moreIt’s Disney and there’s a certain expectation of quality. Today, it was not met by this horrible restaurant.
Mobile order of a carnitas burrito for me and a gluten allergy friendly taco plate for my wife. Comes to the window on the same plate with no allergy pick and right off the bat, it’s weird. Those are Disney standards- hell it happened at breakfast.
I asked to speak to the chef who told me it was a gluten friendly meal except that they cook the corn tortillas and flour burrito wraps on the same grill. Ok… that’s not allergy friendly. Do they roast peanuts on the grill and say it’s peanut friendly?
Anyway, we accept the risk cuz it’s a low volume time. My wife takes a few bites and it’s like there are a dozen hot peppers worth of scoville units in the rice and on the onions. We’re not lightweight on spice but this is nuts.
Hell with this place. More like hell’s inferno craphouse....
Read moreWay overpriced not worth your money. There are a lot of good places to eat in Disneyland it's best to look it up what you want the night before and plan on going there that day we went here on a whim and realize that was mistake the next day we went we prepared the night before where we were going to eat and it worked out so much better and a lot cheaper. I'm giving this a two stars because of their customer service was great other than that the food wasn't that great, was missing flavor and it did not fill us up. I had to go get some overpriced pizzas slices to fill up the family. After all said and done for lunch costed almost $80 is ridiculous. When we left the park for dinner we went to Carl's Junior and a few the whole family was $19.59. big difference Disneyland get it together you're...
