We found our new favorite thing at Disneyland!!

We participated in early morning yoga at the Disneyland Hotel’s rose garden and it was amazing. We signed up in advance and had to be there at 6:15 AM. Class size was limited to 20 people. We got lucky and our family was 4 of the 5 participants in the session so it was small and personal. The instructor was knowledgeable, super nice, and funny. She was very observant to make sure we understood each pose and were doing each correctly. It was a nice medium level of yoga, felt great, and was a fantastic way to start our day before going into the park. They gave us complementary water and granola bars.

The next day, we did the DCA bootcamp and it was a fun workout. We met outside the spa at 6:15 am and got to enter DCA for our adventure workout before the park opened. Phones and photos are not allowed so we left our phones safe with spa staff during our workout. There were about 10 total participants for our session. We warmed up with stretches and then jogged around the park stopping at various locations to do short circuit workouts. We did lunges, squats, pushups, burpees, worked with bands, ladders and more. It was fun to experience the early morning park vibe and workout with the Disney ambience. Our teenagers felt like Avenger heroes doing pushups in Avengers Campus while Avengers music was playing. We ended with a cool down and then received complimentary water and granola bars. Our trainer (Ikaika) was fantastic! He was super fit, energetic, friendly, funny, and kept everyone motivated. Overall, our whole family absolutely loved this experience and highly recommend it.

I booked the Tenaya Signature Massage (80-min) in January of 2024 and had a wonderful experience.

I received a phone call the day prior to confirm my reservation. Check-in on the day of was seamless, and the staff was superb. I was given a brief history of the spa followed by a tour of the facilities.

After settling in, my masseuse showed me to the treatment room. He assessed my needs, and provided a massage that was therapeutic and relaxing. The products he used smelled nice and left my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I appreciated the massage tables they use. Not only are they heated, but they raise and lower, which is beneficial for guests. The blankets, robes and towels were also incredibly soft and comfortable.

The (men’s) wet area was pristine, with ice water, robes, towels, sandals, along with any toiletries you might need. The lockers have built-in locks for your personals. The showers and steam room are elegant and provide total privacy.

The relaxation area was my favorite part. They provide fresh fruit and snacks, along with assorted beverages. This area has comfortable lighting and gentle music. There were also books and magazines if you find yourself with extra time.

The theming of the spa was done quite nicely. A woodsy yet elegant vibe, that immediately relaxes your mind. The design throughout was quite calming. There were fancy fruit waters available, small baked goods which were tasty! There is a steam shower, lockers, amenities to freshen up for hair and mirror in the locker room. Cozy robes and slipper for each guest. My massage and facial was customized to my preferences.

Cons: only two things I think are slightly off- 1: women’s locker room has a scent when you walk in that is not pleasant. It is quite off putting. I think it would be something to do with the steam shower, maybe old pipes? Maybe too much moisture that causes some thing off? With a tweaking to scents in this environment as an extra effort, have a stronger eucalyptus scent in the entrance so it can mask the off putting smell? Maybe it’s like an all natural essential oils or something? 2: Also disappointed the bathrooms has individual doors with locks, great but then inside it is a normal stall bathroom so that part felt cheap. Like why didn’t you put walls up in the bathroom so it is a full single bathroom not the big gaping top and bottom of each stall exposed. So only two things that didn’t fit with the rest of the aesthetic to this cozy spa!
