Decided to give this a try based on other ratings. I have to say, I wasn't impressed as I had hoped to be. We waited a couple minutes in the entrance to be seated. Then waited almost 10 minutes after to be asked our order. I'm assuming they just wait until you're all ready to order everything. What was surprising to me was it really was not that busy (Saturday evening) for such wait times. Our food came out pretty fast. We ordered Tom Yum Chicken ($10.99), Yellow Curry Beef ($9.99), Pad Thai Chicken ($8.99) and Thai Iced Tea ($2.75). I LOVE Tom Yum, but I wasn't too impressed with it here. Ordered a 6/10 spice and it was more of a 2/10. Also, the flavor was just a little bland and some chicken was almost rubbery. Yellow Curry is also another favorite of mine, along with Panang. I decided to try the Yellow Curry because it's a rather popular curry, fairly simple dish, and wanted to play it safe (based off other reviews) since it was our first time here. I must say, it was not that great. I couldn't figure out if it was too much curry paste and not enough coconut milk/cream or if it was just salty. It tasted salty. Also, no bell peppers (which I think would help flavor it up better) . The Pad Thai Chicken was good with no spice at all, but we added some chili and it tasted great. I was worried about getting sick here as I was reading some reviews during our wait times. We didn't get sick... although I was nervous after we did have a couple rubbery-like chicken. Thai Iced Tea was okay, but a little pricy. From my understanding, this is a fairly new restaurant... so I did take that into consideration. The service wasn't bad, just slow. Also, there are a couple big tables towards the back that would be nice for parties of like 6-8. Yes, I would visit again.

HALAL Thai restaurant! Food 5* Vibe 1* Service 2* Ok, so being a uniquely halal thai spot, we had to try it out. And let me tell you. This is the best thai food I've had in socal. The meat quality in the chicken and beef are so much better than the other regular thai restaurants. Not to mention the delicious taste in the food, no matter what you pick. As for the vibe. This is the literal definition of Hole in the wall restaurant. Everything is extremely dated in here. My group didn't want to go in because it looked sketchy from the outside. But i had a feeling the food was going to be amazing. But the vibe inside was quiet and boring. Maybe have some music or like the tvs on to give some activity? Service. It's pretty slow here. Our server sat us down and came to take our order 15 minutes later. And the food came out one at a time rather than at once. Which i didnt mind because each dish tasted great. Tip for the restaurant- please have your servers show more enthusiasm and not a "i dont want to be here" vibe

Although the owner (and chef) was happy to see 17 people but I don't think the girl who took our order was. She looked somewhat agitated and snappy which made me feel like taking my business elsewhere. So I stayed away and let my wife deal with her. My friend requested to turn off air cooler as it was already cold inside but they simply refused by saying, there's nothing they can do about it. Food was not bad and quantity was ok. Mandatory 18% service fee was not appreciated for service we did not receive. All they did was to bring the food and disappeared until we called them for the check. Chances of my going back there is very thin to zero..

This place just lost business from us for LIFE. I wish I could give 0 stars. We would drive an hour to this place because we loved their curry and this was our go to Thai place. We always have had a great experience in the past with the workers and we never had any issues. We called an order in to have ready for us to eat when we get there like we have done in the past with no issues. We arrived at 9:00 p.m. and this young kid said he apparently " shouldn't have done that" and threw out the food.

I kindly asked if he can make it again He said no

I said the window says last call for food is at 9:30 p.m. (It was 9:00 p.m.)

He said, "I know, I'm the owner, and I'm saying no because I have 2 families dining in." As he said this, he had a smile on his face.

I'm confused - who turns away business?

We drove an hour saving our appetite excepting to arrive and have our thai food and that it would be ready to eat like it has in the past.

It really was a huge inconvenience to drive an hour, wasting time and gas, for him to act as rude as he did when we arrived.

Honestly, he probably never made it, or gave it to the customers that were dining in.

I am so devastated and disappointed regarding this matter. I've never seen this young kid in the past and I'm sure the real owner would be very upset he turned away business.

We are never coming here again. Terrible...
