I genuinely had high hopes when visiting this café for the first time, but from the moment we pulled into the parking lot, things went downhill fast. They actually charge for parking and call it “valet”—for a café. It felt more like a joke than a service, and it immediately gave off a bad impression.
Still, we decided to give it a chance and walked inside. There was only one worker, and instead of greeting us or even acknowledging we walked in, she just stood there with an uninterested expression. No “Hello,” no “Welcome,” nothing. I tried to stay positive and said, “Hi, it’s my first time here. What do you recommend?” expecting at least a basic friendly response. She looked irritated and said one word: “Satlana.” Completely dry, no explanation, like she couldn’t be bothered to speak to a customer.
I then asked if there was anything similar to a Dubai chocolate drink, and she lazily said “the crepes” with zero effort. I pointed toward the Satlana item to confirm, and she actually rolled her eyes at me—like my question was somehow annoying.
Trying to give her one more chance, I asked, “Do you guys have milkshakes?” Instead of answering like a normal customer service employee, she just pointed at the screen and said, “Everything is there,” and rolled her eyes again. This wasn’t just rude—it was publicly disrespectful, and people around us saw her attitude.
At that point, it was clear that customer service is not a priority for this place. If this is how they treat first-time customers, it speaks volumes about their professionalism—or lack of it. The entire atmosphere felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming because of that single interaction.
📌 Overall Impression: • Charging for “valet” parking at a café? Ridiculous. • Zero customer service or basic courtesy. • Eye-rolling and attitude instead of hospitality. • Made us feel unwelcome in front of other guests.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was bad enough to speak on. There are plenty of cafés that offer great service, a warm welcome, and don’t make customers feel like a burden. This place is definitely not one of them. I will not be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a...
Read moreThe place is cozy with nice seating, and the desserts do taste good. However, my experience with pricing and service has been very disappointing. After ordering three or four times, I noticed that the prices on the menu do not match what you’re actually charged. For example, the tres leches cake with mango is listed at $13.99, but when paying, the total came out to $16.05. This kind of price difference is frustrating and feels misleading.
Another issue is the cashier’s approach to add-ons. Simple requests such as a drizzle of Nutella, pistachio sauce, or chocolate were all met with extra charges of $2–$3 each. The menu advertises a “build your own order” for $13.99, yet every small request adds up, and one dessert can easily reach $18 or more. For the portion size, this is not fair or reasonable.
Since the place is new and busy, it seems they are taking advantage of the demand, which comes across as greedy. Because of this, I can only give them one star for service. While the desserts are tasty, the unfair pricing and poor service overshadow the experience. If you want to try it, I’d suggest ordering just one item, but be cautious of unexpected...
Read moreMy friends and I decided to try this place for the first time after seeing it gain some attention on social media. At first, the restaurant seemed very clean and inviting. However, my experience started to decline when it was my turn to order. While the cashier was helpful (since it was my first time), another staff member shoved me aside to order before me, which left me shocked. The cashier sincerely apologized, which I appreciated.
When I went to pay, the cash register system went down. The person preparing the orders seemed overwhelmed, likely due to a large number of orders and possibly being short-staffed. However, it appeared that others were in the back not directly helping with orders, which added to the feeling of disorganization. Overall, the service felt rushed and not very welcoming, and I felt a bit uncomfortable during the experience.
As for the dessert, it was underwhelming and didn’t quite live up to the expectations set by the brand’s name social...
