I was really upset yesterday. I was coming in town to celebrate my son's 9th birthday with my family. I called to order cupcakes on Thursday for his birthday on Saturday the 20th. Told the lady exactly what I wanted and said I'd pick them up at 8am. My husband and I got over yesterday at 8:30 to pick them up. I was so upset, almost in tears when we get there and to my surprise, no cupcakes. They couldn't find the order and wanted me to push off the cupcakes for a few hours. I said no then wanted me to buy some premade cupcakes that weren't what I wanted. I asked if they could put the soccer balls on the cupcakes like I ordered. She went to the back and said they didn't have any. So they wouldn't have been able to make them with the soccer balls anyway. I ended up buying a premade cake. The girl that helped us yesterday morning was very nice and gave us a discount because of the mix-up. But it's disappointing when I always went to Servatii's for cakes when I lived there. So, to call them from out of state and told no problem they'll be ready. I even offered to prepay. Then nothing was upsetting. Servatii has hands down the best baked goods! Stopped for fresh rye bread they sliced to order. Picked up a yummy delicately flavored lemon bars, and apple fritter. People are always friendly and helpful..AND really patient with my elderly mother , who has a hard time deciding!! Thanks for NEVER making me regret the extra calories with excellent quality, servings, and service!! Edit: I hate that you can only leave one review as experiences can differ over time! However-- There is no drop here! Love Lent for the hot cross buns. They are also stocked nicely for St. Patrick Day...HCB are The Best!! Staff always attentive...
