I spent just under $20 for two small BLTs and an Italian Chopped Salad. The price was not so much the issue UNTIL I arrived at a friend's where I was disappointed and embarassed...the saddest sandwich ever, made with less than a strip of bacon, a bit of shredded lettuce, a very thin slice of tomato, a smear of mayo on a three inch high sourdough (?) dry bun. Both sandwiches were pitiful. The salad was lettuce topped with very thin slices of some kind of Italian meats (?). My receipt was dated 3/5/2018 at 4:57pm and I waited over 15 minutes which seemed ridiculous as there were zero customers in the place and four (visible) employees! The girl who took my order and payment was the one who filled my order, as well. Another girl was busy making two pizzas and another item which she carried out the door before I left. So, it appeared she was taking care of herself. A third girl was texting or ? on her cell phone in the food prep area. The fourth was chatting with the others until a man and two girls came in and she took their order. My original intent was to go by this Schlotzky store at 603 E. Greenville St. at my convenience the next day. However, after reading so many bad reviews already made and with no apparent reconciliation, I have decided to NEVER patronize this...
Read moreMy wife visited Schlotzsky's in Anderson, SC to pick up dinner for all of us. It's 6 miles each way from our house, but the food is good, so it's worth passing four other sandwich shops. When she came back home, the 4 sandwiches were not labeled, and 2 of the 4 didn't resemble anything we ordered. We discussed and she packed it all back up and went back to the store. It was getting late in the evening – to avoid risking missing dinner, we decided the best option was to return the food and request a refund. After the manager argued that half of the order was correct, she finally relented and said she'd issue a refund. We waited a week. The $23.06 was never refunded. My wife returned to the store a week later and explained the story; the manager remembered! She said that the refund would be issued expediently. Well, it's been 78 days and guess what, no refund. I travel the country for work and have always enjoyed making the local Schlotzsky's one of my dining destinations. Not only will I never return to the Schlotzsky's in Anderson, SC, I'll never be in the proximity of any of their stores. I'd get a better return on my money if I gave it to Bernie Madoff rather than a...
Read moreI came to schlotskys to get some food after work and because of working late, I rarely get to come to this location as much as I used to. I was told that one of my favorite employees kayla was fired after working 4 years from being rude and she said it was to customers she never even spoke to.....not even to take their order. Kayla doesn't take any crap from anyone and definantly isn't rude, shes just point blank to the point and doesn't have a high pitch voice like a lot of females ---no offense to anyone---- in that restaurant. Anyway, I was sadden and disappointed...not cause of kayla but because of this new management that didn't even let kayla explain why she was putting chairs up....so to the woman whos posting pix , she didn't intend to seem like she was shutting store down.. she was cleaning......and assuming schlozkys is closed just cause u rode by and ASSUMED they was closed,, u make an ASS out of urself-- call and ask or go in and ask. BUT -----food was alright, the chicken sandwich tasted funny as if the chicken was a day or so expired. the chips were stale and the cookies were hard ,,as if they were sitting...
