It was my birthday weekend and I decided to come out to Ann Arbor to do a little barhopping and walk around the city with my family and friends because it’s one of my favorite places to visit when I’m in the area. It’s been years since I came out to Ann Arbor and I seen Bills beer garden had a really sizable and adorable outside seating area/ bar. Let me just say I 10/10 Recommend this beer garden, especially if you’re with a group of friends / family! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, modern, and really well kept. The bathrooms were really well maintenance and super clean. All the bar tenders/ servers were Very friendly And always make sure you never had empty glasses in front of you. It’s a very mature setting so I got really comfortable quick. On nice days it’s dog friendly and they don’t serve food, but you can bring food from the other restaurants inside which is awesome! I seen other people brought in board games that they were playing with their friends and it was just such a vibe! We got to bills beer garden at open and it filled up really fast! I’m definitely coming back next time I’m in town and I will recommend it to anyone I come across! 10/10 atmosphere 10/10 service. Great spot for pictures and to meet some friendly people :) Plus, there was plenty of shade and open seating. I’m definitely...

This a very unique beer garden as it's setup in the parking lot of a hardware store that's open during the day. The owners had the brilliant idea of transforming it into a beer garden after hours. The setup is cozy and inviting, with long picnic tables for communal seating - much like a traditional beer garden in Germany. The drinks are reasonably priced, and there is a small selection of snacks. They allow you to bring your own food in so if you anticipate that you'll get hungry it's a good idea to pack something. You can also bring dogs in provided that they are leashed - they even have bowls that you can grab for water. If you'll be in the Ann Arbor area after 6PM, I highly recommend grabbing...

Called last call only 3 hours into their business hours, 2.5 hours before close, based on their listed September hours on their website. It was a very nice Monday evening, no weather, but when I asked why, I was told they close early because of weather. I was there for probably 30 minutes, many of the tables were occupied, so there was still a decent crowd and they turned away several groups of people after announcing last call. I like Bill's and have never had any issues with this business before, but it's extremely frustrating that they would close so early before their listed hours. Our group took our...

We went here for the first time last weekend, and we loved it. Great beer selection, friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere, and the perfect spot for a hot day. Walking through a cool mist with beers in hand, right before you find a place to sit, was welcomed on a 90+ degree day.(I went on Amazon and bought this amazing misting hose attachment while we sat and drank our beers. Message me if you want the product details) You can rent games such as chess, checkers, Jenga, etc. And set up shop at a picnic table with friends. Highly recommend!

Bill's Beer Garden is a seasonal pop-up after hours adult-only hang out in the parking lot of the Home & Garden Store. It's novel and simply delightful. They have a nice assortment of beers as well as some yummy options for us hops haters. But, heads up, there’s no food besides some chips at the bar but you can have food delivered or bring it in. They even have some games you can borrow!
