Cottage inn Broadway is one of the best for carryout. We live in farmington and I refuse to go to the cottage inn in that city. The drivers (farmington) always drive like they're in Nascar, they always smoke with orders in their car and it's just not good.
So why do we get carryout from the Ann Arbor location? Because once again my kid is admitted to U of M and there's only so many "guest trays" a parent can handle.
It's ridiculously easy to order online and out of the 5 orders we've placed at this location since 12/22, we've never had a wrong order. Their drivers are fantastic at following the complicated delivery instructions; food delivery is only allowed at a certain entrance and the customer has to go out a certain door to pick up their order. I've never had a driver just leave our order unattended in the lobby (looking at you, door dash!) The drivers are always on time, if not earlier than expected. They are also always so kind and great at communicating and texting to confirm one if us is at the entrance. When you have a kid admitted to the hospital, it's those little things that make each and every order hassle free. The food is always piping hot and we've never not received extra sauces or had any issues with the food.
Keep up the great work, cottage...
Read moreI really hate to leave bad review or giving only one star on a place I’ve been using for long time.
I’ve been getting my pizza from this place for the last year and I’ve been always blessed and always try to give out the best tip for all their drivers. But unfortunately they have lost my business for one of their implyees ( with out mintioning names) disrespected me because I asked her where my pizza was and why is it taking to long. She responded we are to busy if u can’t wait until we have the time to deliver call someone else and have them come faster and hang up the phone. I really would like the management to see this review so they can teach their employees it doesn’t matter how busy you are u still have to respect every customer. I have my wone business and I know what it means to lose one customer. In business wise one customer can take a other 15 away which is friends and family and each one othem also take 15 away. Until the end. Also 90% of new customer before they call your place they well look at your reviews and see how people are experiencing...
Read moreAs a native Ann Arborite, I grew up with Cottage Inn Pizza. I don’t live there anymore but was in town and picked up a pizza for old times sake. The pizza was ok but the customer service was atrocious. First I called because I had a question but was put on hold without a word and forgotten about. Called a second time and same thing. I decided to just order online. When I picked up the pizza it was not busy at all (totally empty) so don’t know why they didn’t answer the phone. I walked in and there were 2 employees there. I wasn’t greeted even though she saw me standing and waiting. Then after a few minutes she asked the other person to go to the counter. I smiled and told them my name/order #. No greeting, smile or anything. He just handed me my pizza. Really disappointing customer service. Doesn’t make me want to come back. Pizza was ok. Toppings were very sparse. Cottage inn has so many nice memories for me and history in town - it is a shame how this customer...
