Today I used mobile ordering as many times I wait in line for an exorbitant amount of time in the drive thru.
When I indicated I had a mobile order I was reprimanded by an employee because the "mobile ordering for their store was currently 9 minutes behind and it was during one of their busiest times of the day". She was unkind and condescending in her approach.
The same employee indicated to me that in the future, I should get in the drive thru line and wait. That the drive thru is faster than mobile ordering. Hmmm........ Interesting.
If this is always the case, then what is the point of mobile ordering? What is the allowable time to place a mobile order before arriving to the store? Could that be posted on their website?
When I made my way to the window an older gentlemen decided that he would school me on how mobile ordering works and their entire operation works. He may have been trying to do some type of customer service recovery. However, I did not ask for this explanation.
I have endured long long long waits no matter what form of ordering I use at this Starbucks many times.
I have not had this issue with any other Starbucks.
Perhaps to alleviate this issue, Starbucks could incorporate a grid on their app about what are allowable mobile order times or send an electronic message when you are placing a mobile order to give you permission to do so or ask you to wait.
This review is not about the product, it is about the lack of customer service provided by...
Read moreI was really looking forward to enjoying this place, but my experiences have been disappointing. On one occasion, the drink I received looked nothing like what l ordered (see the comparison: the right image is what l ordered, and the left is what I got). They're not even remotely similar. I was so disappointed with it that I only drank half. When I poured the leftover into the sink, I noticed the syrup had sunk to the bottom. If they had added the syrup at the bottom-which I didn't expect, since the picture showed a nice oat milk foam with syrup on top-they should have provided a stirrer and informed me. But they didn't.
On another visit, I ordered my favorite drink, the London Fog Latte, but it fell far short of my expectations-it didn't taste anything like what l've enjoyed at other places.
Their service also feels inconsistent. One day, they only offered drive-thru service. On another day, at 2 p.m., most menu items were unavailable-only basic options like Americanos were left. Anything containing ingredients other than coffee, like milk, was completely unavailable.
I initially tipped generously for the first few months, but the service quality didn't stand out. The tables were often left dirty, so I had to clean them myself before using them. I've found that local cafes in the area offer a much better...
Read moreIt's a great location for drive thru, but for eating-in, space is limited. It's really busy on top of being small so they often run out of various wraps and sandwiches.
While ordering lunch for my daughter and I at the drive thru, the drive thru tenant kept asking, "Is that it?" starting with the first drink and seemed really annoyed when I got to ordering our sandwiches. Then, when we got to the window we found out they were out of the sandwiches we ordered, and they didn't make it easy to order something else. I had to inquire about what they had available instead. Then, they gave us a warm drink instead of a cold drink on one the drinks we ordered. They were quick to switch it and the food tasted good, but the service was less than par. This was also on an uncrowded day. I'd be very nervous with the service...
