This is not about the food, the half sandwich was very good. The service however was another story. I am a nurse at a local hospital working 12 hours and look forward to ordering a 16" sandwich from JJ's to split for lunch and dinner. Several of us ordered independent orders and a coworker went out to pick up all the orders. When I sat down to eat I discovered half my sandwich was missing. The coworker noted that there was some arguing behind the counter about an extra sandwich with no label (clearly mine). Okay, so I call the store and explain the situation, especially that this was going to be two meals. I tell them I work in a local hospital and cannot leave. I ask them if they can bring it out. No, they can't because it's too far (literally 2 miles). I ask if I can get a refund for my inconvenience. No, they can't do that because "I actually did receive SOME of my food" however they can put my name on some random list for a discount at a later date. After becoming frustrated with the situation and speaking with both the Assistant Mgr and Mgr, the Assistant Mgr agreed to refund half the amount (value of the missing sandwich). I called back about an hour later and it seemed they had not given the refund to my card yet and now they would have to run it by some manager on Monday. I am a big JJ fan and order very frequently from other stores, always with good service. I am very disappointed that (1) The Managers didn't seem to care (no - I'm sorry for our mistake), (2) They could not make this right. (3) I will likely not order from this location ever again because I NEED to depend on where I order from. To them it's just a missing sandwich, for me it's a 12 hour work day...

They worked on big lunch orders for 15 minutes, while we waited and the cashier stared straight ahead without anyone in line. We were literally the only customers in the place. There was no customer service, or even a gesture of apology that they must complete the large orders ahead of ours. We finally got our sandwiches and there was one finely-sliced layer of salami inside my VITO lettuce wrap. By fine, I mean less than half the width of the cheese. What is normally a rather large, super-filling, spicy sandwich tasted like lettuce. They didn't even bother to add the other meats. It was smaller than a "slim" that I usually get for my kids. Read moreI normally love Jimmy John’s but NOT this location. The bread for my sandwich was awful. This store either overcooked it or it is from yesterday. At any rate, it was hard and dry. Inside the sandwich was fine, just the bread. I could have hit it on the edge of the counter and not dented it. Come on guys, you should know when your bread is not useable. This is not the first time this has happened either. I had another sandwich like this as well as one of my colleagues.
