Theres not a lot of seating here if you plan on dining in, but we were still able to find a spot despite the crowd. The matcha bingsoo was amazing! On top of the mountain of shaved ice is a scoop of matcha ice cream, and there’s a generous amount of matcha powder sprinkled across the surface. The bitterness of the matcha balances well with the sweet milky shaved ice, the ice cream, sweet red bean paste, and condensed milk; making the overall sweetness level at a balanced spot. The mochi adds a chewy texture and I was amazed that there’s red bean paste filling in the mochi! Underneath the bingsoo hides a layer of cornflake, which adds to the texture profile with crunchiness. Definitely one of the best bingsoo spot I’ve tried in Michigan!

Yoon's bakery is a small hidden bakery located near North Campus of U of M. They sell a variety of different Korean/Asian influenced baked goods. Unlike many western baked goods, Yoon's bakery baked goods are not overly sweet, and the breads are soft and light. There is a variety of different options and flavors that is unique to Korean and Asian bakeries. It's a great place to stop by to pick up a snack or even to grab something for breakfast. The soboro ppang and sweet potato cream bun are some of my favorites. Being located in Ann Arbor is nice since many Korean and Asian bakeries are located on the east side of the state.

I recently visited Yoon’s Bakery in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and it was a delightful experience. I tried their red bean paste cream bread, a blueberry scone, a matcha cookie, and a caramel macchiato. The bakery has cozy tables and chairs inside, making it a perfect spot to enjoy your bread and coffee while having a chat. The red bean paste cream bread was a true highlight – the bread was incredibly soft and of top-notch quality, with a generous amount of red bean paste and cream inside. I absolutely loved it! Yoon’s Bakery is a must-visit for delicious treats and a relaxing ambiance.

Great spot for Korean sweet treats. Nice attention to detail in most of pastries, most on the sweet side. Expensive, yes, and some are visually appealing. You can get enthusiastic and reach way pass $15 in a minute. However, the quality is there. There are no dorayakis (those that Doraemon die for), which are Japanese, so don't do like me asking for that heresy... However, the Korean version of the red bean paste bun is close enough to kill the curiosity. Staff is just what you may expect for a family shop... I found them dry but not rude.

First time visiting Yoon's. Got a few different items. I love that you get an itemized receipt because a lot of the buns and rolls look similar. Try a soboroo; it's absolutely delightful. The store is serious about maintaining covid safety, which I appreciate. Prices are VERY fair: I picked up six items, including a full loaf of bread, for less than twenty bucks. Please support a great small business if you can!
