Kabobistan Mediterranean Cuisine — Restaurant in Annandale

THIS IS NOT THE SAME RESTAURANT THE 2 YRS AGO, I WHEN TO HAVE DINNER AND THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE, FIRST THE TABLES ARE ALL DIRTY, THE FOOD GOT MY STOMACH REALLY BAD I WHEN TO THE BATHROOM TODAY LIKE ABOUT 7 TIMES IS REALLY BAD I CAN'T GO TO WORK LIKE THAT, SO I WILL MESS A PAY DAY, I WILL NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS LOCATION, I KNOW THE OWNER IS NEVER THERE ANYMORE AND I THINK THAT'S THE PROBLEM, NOW THERE'S A BUNCH OF PEOPLE WHO THEY ARE MORE INTERESTED TO CHARGE YOU A 20% TO 28% SERVICE CHARGE (TIP) ON YOUR CREDIT CARD THEN DOING THEIR JOB WHEN I GO PLACES LIKE THAT I PAY CASH SO THEY WON'T ASK ME THIS STUPID TIP BASE ON NOTHING THEY DID NOT WAIT MY TABLE OR BRING THE FOOD OR STOP BY AND ASK ME IF I NEED ANYTHING, THIS PEOPLE WANT JUST TO GET A TIP FOR NOTHING THEY DO NOT SERVE YOU ON ANY WAY, THEY BAG THE FOOD SAME IF YOU EATING THERE OR TAKE IT TO GO, I LIKE THIS PLACE BEFORE BUT NOW NO WAY I'M COMING BACK EITHER MY FAMILY WILL GO THERE EVER AGAIN, MY BEST ADVICE DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION , THE RICE WAS NO FLAVOR AND TASTE OLD THE CHICKPEAS WAS NOT HOT ON TEMPERATURE AND THE BREAD WAS REALLY TICK NO FLAVOR AND SOME PARTS THE LOOK LIKE IT WAS NOT COOK ALL THE WAY, SHE ORDER QAUBILI PALAU AND SHE ORDER THERE BEFORE AND SHE TOLD ME THE MEAT WAS NO FLAVOR AT ALL JUST TASTE LIKE MEATLESS FOOD THE RICE NO FLAVOR AND OLD AND THE OTHER TYPE OF MEAT OR LAMB DID NOT HAVE ANY FLAVOR, SHE ALSO DO NOT WANT TO GO BACK THERE SHE AGREED WITH THE NEW LOCATION IN WOODBRIDGE IS MUCH BETTER IN EVERYTHING, THAT'S TO BAD I USE TO LIKE THIS PLACE...

Standard chicken kabob. Prices have gone up cuz the meat prices went up, they've told us. We pay almost $17 for a chicken (not lamb, CHICKEN) platter. It's good, but not THAT good, and the salad is subpar. Most of the time we find 95% or more lettuce. It's extremely inconsistent. Without some other veggies, it isn't worthy of the name "salad," cuz it's just lettuce. Feels like cutting corners to save money while charging full price. The bread is best fresh. After it cools off the thin bits get crunchy fast, and that is only good if you like bread like that. I understand the nature of it is inconsistent thickness, but I feel like the skimp a little on purpose to save money. An extra piece is something like $2.50. Which reminds me, we used to get the chicken platter with extra bread, but many times we opened the bag at home and there is only 1 piece of bread. I am tired of paying for bread and not getting it. We could buy at LEAST 1 chicken platter with the money we lost on bread we never got. Husband asked them to check once and they insisted there were 2 pieces. Guess what. ONE PIECE OF BREAD. We've had issues with rude staff occasionally. If it is a family business, note some people are not suited to customer service. They need to hire someone who is good with customers. I wanted to try a new place since I was in the area. I walked in and its a small dining room. Tables were dirty and rice all over it and om the floor. There was only1 table occupied ar the time. Didnt appear too cleanly. I ordered kabob witj chickpeas and salad. I asked for the carrots and raisins but didnt get it. He didnt ask if it was forbhere or to go even though i sat down after ordering to wait. The guy didn't bring me food or ask my name when takikg the order so he just kept yelling until i realized he was talking to me with my back turned. I decided to go tp my car and eat since the tables were nasty. Taste was decent. The bread was tough and the white sauce was watery. Upon eating my salad when i was just about done. I took a bite of the groumd meat and salad and bit into something hard and it cut my tounge. I spit it out and stopped eating. When i called the resturant to explain, all the guy did was instantly deny that anything was in my food and kept giving me the run around to talk with thw owner. He told .w to call him at another location instead of taking my info. Down and having him reach out to me. Can't say that this has happened to me before bht it truely scared the hell out of me thinking it was glass and could've swalloelwed it. I do not reccommend this place.
