New China Carryout — Restaurant in Annandale

I am in the habit of reviewing everything, and as a reviewer, I make it a point to read reviews for restaurants before I order anything. The reviews I saw were pretty good, with the exception of two. I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice and the fried wings with fried rice and sweet and sour soup. The food was well seasoned, hot, and better than I expected. However, the fried wings were not what I'm used to...they could learn something from the carryout restaurants in Washington DC where the wings are fried well and are absolutely delicious. The spring roll was one of the best I've had in a while. I will definitely patronize this place in the near future. Just work on those wings...go to DC as a secret shopper and try the wings at virtually every carryout to get an idea of how it's done. The wings caused the loss...

This is my usual chinese food stop when ordering delivery, I order the regular everytime kung pao chicken, beef loming sorry if spelled wrong, and orange chicken. However this time, the kung pao chicken had a distint smell to it, never before did I notice it, smelled like used spoiled chicken overcooked , i called and complaint regarding it, they only compensated 2 spring rolls not the plate, I decided to give them a second chance , ordered the same dish, and had the same terrible smell of rotten chicken, I couldnt even smell it without feeling disgrunt in my stomach, sorry cant describe it differently, out of the many places youncan order chinese food I was displeased with that order, was thrown out, 9 dollars wasted, In dont think I will order from them , lost my trust how they handle food after those...

I ordered Egg rolls not the springs roll but they said when someone order an egg roll the u serve springs roll unless customer specified I said egg roll means egg roll regular not the springs roll if I want springs roll I will ask for it and the restaurant owner should ask if they want to sell springs roll then she says we do not making egg roll I have never seen any Chinese restaurants doesn't serve the egg roll and I did order egg roll in this place before Anyway she did not even apologize to me for wrong ordered instead making ridiculous excuses to customer I feel they just wanted make more bucks by putting t he wrong kind of egg roll If anyone goes there to order an egg roll tell them no springs roll that way they can't...
