'Big-Bite'Food-Deliv.Picket Str./Alex., |:The following experience should be of interest to all those with disabilities that keeps them from cooking and from rushing to open the door a.s.a.p.-someone knocks; And, if they are refused services at anytime, being considered to be an 'inconvenience' because of these disabilities. The following is what happened to me. On 04/8'014, as customarily, I ordered food-for delivery from Big Bite on Pickett Road, Alexandria. I made sure to alert the Order-taker about my leaving the door unlocked so that the deliv. guy could shout making his arrival heard from the door entrance; this is an option, as my physical condition does not allow me to rush to the door. However, not a single sound was heard at all- 'NO KNOCKS on door/NOR Cell phone ring-tones' were ever heard, not even a weak feeble scratch was heard at the door, thus, making me realized that the delivery-guy, had NEVER come to the door. He may have called from the road, but my Cell phone did not emit a sound, as it does not always work from inside the Apt., *(this is why, leaving the door unlocked is the best option). In sum, NO SOUNDS/NO RESPONSE! The above resulted in Manager Pablo unjustly barring me from placing future orders with 'Big Bite', closing the doors to my obtaining food-delivery services because he found me to be 'an inconvenience' based on the above-account of events, even though in was a single incident amidst the insurmountable almost everyday orders I placed with them. So, I cannot help but to think that Mgr. Pablo's reaction boils down to nothing more than refusal of services because my disabilities are "an inconvenience" to Mgr. Pablo, who did not even want to hear the facts of what happened, nor did he want to see my 'leaving the door unlocked for the delivery man', as an option, or that the delivery-man seems to actually never have come to the door. Based on the above set of accounts, it seems to me that 'BIG BITE' may have simply wanted to erase me as a customer because my disabilities presented to be an 'inconvenience' for the speedy-arrogant delivery-man. This, could be deemed as discriminating a customer because of being some sort of 'inconvenient-disabled person. But, I leave that in the hands of my peers. I leave this experience on the hands of all the customers' judgment. 'Big Bite' Food-on Pickett Rd, Alex.-Manager Pablo.,refuses services to those presenting to be an 'inconvenience'. And, so far, no-one from Big Bite has taken any steps to correct the situation, not even apologize. |:Pizza 'Vocelli' expressed their joy in delivering food to any of us, regardless of who or what we...
Read moreBelow is the statement I had made when filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Manager named Nancy, at the Annandale location, stated that she is in fact the manager. If that is the case she needs to be disciplined for the most inappropriate behavior in any business around. She actually debated back with me, the customer, using vulgar language and inappropriate comments. I called back to get more information about the business, she first refused to give me her name which is highly unusual and unacceptable in any business establishment. I also asked for the corporate information and she responded, "why does it matter?" so I told her it's so I can file a complaint about her, she then told me that it is personally owned. I then asked for the owner's name she refused to give me anymore information and started bickering at me. It all started when I called to make an order, she had the worst attitude, she should not be the first voice customers hear to represent this place. I just ignored the attitude and put the order in, the order we received was wrong so I called in that's when the argument had started, she was trying to give me directions on how I need to speak with her in order to get another pizza. My 3 friends would be more than happy to witness that these are all true events. She was way out of line for a customer service provider, her behavior is intolerable, it is not okay to behave this way towards a customer regardless if the customer is right or wrong. My friend was so hungry he had to beg them to send the pizza, I on the other hand feel as though we should get our money back and order from somewhere else. If the manager's attitude is that inappropriate, who knows what she might do to the...
Read moreBeen coming here for over 10 years. Picked up 16 pcs of wings last sunday, 8/4/24 for carryout. Upon getting home, ALL wings were not that much bigger than my thumb (see photos). I'm petite but these wings were ridiculously small!!! I should've opened the box b4 leaving. It was also quite a drive from home. It was such a SCAM to put these wings in one order! No wonder why the container was lighter than usual. I called them and the guy agreed they were small and that I should complain to the manager the next day at 11:00am. I called the next day at 12:30pm but manager was not there and I should call after 5:00pm. I didn't want to waste my time anymore since even mgmt is not around, so I'd rather post it here to warn all of you who loves wings. BEWARE AND OPEN THE BOX BEFORE LEAVING!!! The employees are well aware that their product were not up to their standards, THEY SHOULD NOT SELL THEM!!! HORRIBLE! Time to find a new wings place.....ANY...
