My boyfriend and I went through the drive-through recently and had a really disappointing experience with an employee named Summer.
When we first pulled up, we told her we had a code from the Wendy’s app because we’re still learning how the rewards system works. We then realized it was a scan code, not a number, so we said we were ready to order. From the start, her tone was rude and dismissive — she snickered and said “okay” with attitude.
Throughout the order she continued to sound annoyed, rushing us and snapping things like “okay, what drink?” and “what sauce?” Then when we pulled up to the window, we saw her in the back staring and smiling in a way that felt unprofessional.
We told the guy at the window we had a free 10-piece nugget reward, and he scanned the phone. We waited about 5–10 minutes while the card reader rebooted. During that time, Summer made comments about another employee “probably just breaking it.” When the reader finally worked, they handed back my boyfriend’s card, and we left thinking the nuggets were in the bag — but they weren’t.
My boyfriend went inside, and the guy who had helped us started to look into it. Summer came up while he was helping and said in a snarky tone that it was a “separate order” and “wasn’t even on there.” I showed her my phone with the free 10-piece reward, and she suddenly said “oh shit” and started talking into her headset to the manager. The manager never came out even though she had helped earlier at the drive-through.
Finally, Summer said, “Okay, we’ll do that, but next time you need to say it into the speaker,” even though I had mentioned it at the very beginning.
The whole interaction felt rude, unprofessional, and confusing. Mistakes happen, but there’s no reason to treat customers disrespectfully or make them feel like they’re the problem for trying to use a...
Read moreI was so excited at the idea of a Orange Dreamsicle Frosty: In fact I order 5 medium on line with a total of 7 burgers and sundries, all toll just under $70.00 and what did we get. Well first off no Orange Dreamsicle Frosty: but of course they had cholate, if I knew it would take almost 30 minutes to pick up my order that was to be ready in 5 minutes per your site, and then to only get 3 frostys after waiting so long I took only the 3 and left store. There was no offer to refund anything either, of course by the time we got home everting was cold because the burger sat on the counter for over 1/2 hour, then to get home to find instead of 5 double burgers there was only 4 with 3 singles that was suppose to be 2 and of course everything cold. I should have canceled the order after the first lye about Orange Dreamsicle Frosty: and went to TACO BELL, this is about the worse experience I have had in a very long time. You should not be able to promote something you do not have just to...

And Im saving it over nite in case I get sick from eating a couple bites from a RAW burger. I ordered a biggie bag for myself as well as other items for my husband. I got home and my burger was not in the bag. I called Before I went back because they did not put a receipt in my bag and wanted to be sure I could get my burger without a receipt. The employee said they were aware they forgot to put the burger in the bag and said they would have another biggie bag ready for me. I drove back to the restaurant to get my biggie bag. I get home for the second time and I took a couple bites of my burger and I just happened to look at the burger and I noticed the meat was very RAW. With Covid-19 being a worry for health right now, I didnt need a RAW burger at this moment in time to worry that I would get food poison from an under...
