Antiques On Salem Street — Local services in Apex

Went to this store yesterday for the first time with my girlfriend and one of her friends but the owner would not take his eyes off of them. He would only take a few seconds to stare at me, look at his phone or computer, then continue staring at their butts. Neither of them were in revealing clothing, just their casual vintage clothes they both love wearing. Additionally, the store was messy and most things in there were dirty and unsellable in my opinion. I’m sure there’s some treasures in there but wouldn’t recommend based off of what all...

Owner was kind and informative, but the store is a mess. Antiquing often involves some dusty hunting but this place is more akin to a hoarders junk room than reputable antique store.

The organizer in me was dying to spend my time cleaning and fixing displays so that some of the beautiful pieces may actually stand a chance at finding a home. Some real jewels were absolutely buried under a pile of mildew-smelling blankets, and the display case near the front has some lovely things if you clear it off enough...

Would not recommend, I have lived in Apex all my life and I have never experienced service this bad. Glared at me and my friend the entire time and made me feel so uncomfortable to the point of me putting my items back.
