La Prensa Latin Grill — Restaurant in Apopka

We were looking for a Caribbean type food but this is not it, despite the misleading menu options and name of restaurant. It’s actually 2 restaurants in one. I ordered a burger and fries for my kids. There was Indian curry on the fries. My son didn’t like them and that’s all he likes to eat. The Havana salad was mostly iceberg lettuce, very little green and a weird taste. The chicken was the best thing about the salad. The potato balls and empanadas were yuk. I took one bite of each that was it. My husband fish and shrimp. He said fish not so good. $70 worth of food only...

This operates out of a sub shop and I received a sub. I ordered a Cuban steak sandwich and received a Philly cheesesteak with stale potato sticks on it. No cuban bread, no grilled steak, not even pressed. I ordered ahead and the person working the counter was completely unaware this restaurant’s steak sandwich differed from the steak sub, and it took an additional 10 minutes after I arrived to get the sandwich, which was already 10 minutes after my arrival window. The sub was fine, not great but edible, but definitely not worth...
