Kit Land Nelson Park — Attraction in Apopka

The event maybe because of the Heat or the way the trucks were spread out it seemed sparse but also the music was quite loud I know that makes me sound like some old man but for instance when placing your order at the Korean truck you're having to yell up to the window and when there is more than 3 what's exchanged you know that the music is too loud. I think somehow trying to get the trucks in closer to each other would give it a more cozy busy feeling. And as they say people eat with their eyes and if I can see what somebody is getting from another truck but have to walk across the field to go do it the likelihood of that happening is slim to none. It did seem like somebody had a vending license possibly to sell beer and wine but it was a table in front of a car with no sign or anyting as I wasn't drinking I didn't bother walking over there to find out but if it is the case it needs some better signage for...

It was extremely beautiful!!! Celebrated my daughter's 2nd birthday and i couldn't love tje scenery. Plenty of space for the kids to play loved the pavilion area perfect size for ky family and friends. The only reason i dont give it a five star is because the bathroom was. Bit of an issue. They were not available and we had to cross the street to use the bathroom to the other park and to my surprise there was a woman (homeless) puking and doing number 3 all over the bathroom floor and it had a smell of bad body odor of days.. She seemed to have been sleeping there for quite some time.... They need to keep up with the bathrooms in these parks because it was definitely a 1 out of 10 for me. Other then that...

When I visit relatives in Apopka, Florida, I always walk through the Kit Land Nelson Park on Park Avenue. It has a gazebo, monument to the men who served in the military, numerous manicured shrubs, trees and flowers, and pleasant walkways and paths. There is a new playground area for children, and the occasional park bench and picnic table.

At various times throughout the year an adjacent area to the south becomes an amusement park, with rides and snack counters. Once I explored the park when it was filled with rare antique cars.
