Today my family and I visited The Apopka Museum and we were just blown away by the wealth of information offered and the variety of artifacts. Justin provided such an engaging tour while exuding genuine passion for every exhibit on display. Thanks to Mabel, the center's director, we learned so much and were surprised by how many events are launched each month. My husband and I had a wonderful time experiencing this FREE historical museum! I was interested to learn about the natives from 1,000+ years ago. My husband was fascinated with the rustic farming equipment from just 100 years ago! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We left a donation. A very small museum in Apopka. They have antique clothing, household articles and agricultural pieces, but the most interesting part is the archeological findings. I think they need more space and money to make this a bigger and better place for families to enjoy. Compared to other museums, this little gem should have more of the city support...
