Ladies and gentlemen the Apopka location has forgotten their own description on their own very menu which is set in print! What an extraordinary accomplishment of achievement! Their fix on a problem definitely deserved this rating! On their eggs benedict its description is "Two basted eggs" which means eggs fried in water. We had an order of two laughable plates. The first order had half of a very visible egg shell in it. Im not talking a tiny broken piece of shell, Im talking big shell that a 5 year old would make for you leaving in the shells for extra flavor. Our kind waitress is the one who noticed the egg shell when she put our plate down. She said she would have them make me a new plate. Exactly 30 seconds later she returned handing me another plate and her answer was "this was for another guest but we gave it to you instead" there really wasnt many guest there at that time and that dish looked awfully like my original order since i said no bacon, hash browns, and the way i moved the hashbrows to check how much of the egg shell was in the eggs, the hash browns were in the same location i left it. Sadly, the hollandaise i asked for on the side was cold, not even warm. I believe I've seen this magic trick in a movie once where they tried to trick the customer in believing it was remade as a prank. The second plate the egg was actually tried. It was clearly an over easy egg with crisppy edges. When asked about the eggs we were told all of them are fried to save time. Actually i was told by employee of perkins it takes 20 whole minutes to make a poached egg. I had no idea a 5 minute process for every person cooking it, was a different process for perkins. At this point i asked to speak to a manager. Someone clearly who was cooking came out to speak to me. I asked this man if he was a manager since at this point im starring in a comedy and he said yes. I think he must have had something in his eye because i kid you not he did not look at me once as we spoke but he looked outside the window the whole time. He did offer to make us a new plate but we declined. He was not customer service friendly. I did compliment our amazing waitress with how kind and delightful she was. He told me they had a contest and if i wanted to give a review on our waitress to help her win. So heres my review, In all honesty our waitress whos name is star was amazing, kind and helpful. I am sad I was given the same plate but was told it was a different plate. Aside from that she did do a good job. She was even kind enough to warm the cup on a cold day. Our food and that manager on a slow day at perkins gets 0 star ranking. I wonder if the "manager" should have told me to do a review on google knowing I was not happy with my experience. That just goes to show our comedy day at perkins! My brain was left in scrambles after cracking the code with the same plate given back to me. The manager didnt have to be such a rotton egg while talking to us. All it did was egg us on more to leave this review he suggested! The amazing waitress was the sunny side up of our day. The manager and the meal was a joke. Its truly sad in all seriousness this is how the Apopka location...

Read moreWe visited the Apopka, Fl location yesterday. I understand it was Father’s Day, so we anticipated a wait time. We waited 20 minutes for a table, not a big deal. It all went downhill once we were seated. We waited about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. We got our drinks and placed our order with Arlene at 10:50, by 11:20 we started asking where our food was, 5 minutes later the waitress tells us they’re putting it together. Another 10 minutes goes by and still no food. At this point my mother in law speaks to a manager whose response was “well it’s Father’s Day!” Well we understood that and were more than patient, but when the people around us, who came in after us, started getting their food, there is a problem. So we left. The rudeness on top of the food never coming out was enough, never mind that the waitress never offered to refill our drinks once while we sat there for close to an hour! No one seemed to understand our frustration or have any concern that we were unhappy customers who had now been waiting 40+ minutes for pancakes and eggs. We were a party of 4, not a table of 15 or anything. On top of that, 1/4 of the tables in the restaurant were empty the entire time we were there, so I don’t understand what the problem was. If your establishment sits 100 people then you should be prepared to serve 100, especially...
