I stopped in Tuesday Feb 6th at around 10:15 pm. I got in line and waited about 10 minutes or so while online orders were made. Then I start my order and the Chipotle worker says “oh sorry we’re out of vegetables and we’re not going to make anymore.” Ok well, I would’ve appreciated some kind of upfront disclaimer about what food isn’t available, and that way I wouldnt have stood there wasting my time in line only to order and then be notified that my order can’t be made. So I politely said “ok, next time I’d appreciate it if you’d let me know upfront about being out of food.” And then the Chipotle worker said “well you could’ve just checked.” As somebody who works in the service industry, that response seemed like a very interesting choice. Why put the blame for your own incompetence on the guest? Especially if they’ve already made the choice to be polite and cordial with you. What a bizarre interaction. The Chipotle worker was a tall teenage girl. Idk maybe she hasn’t had any experience in the workplace or something? And what exactly is her suggestion? That I’m supposed to go through and look at all of the ingredients and see what they have and don’t have, and then somehow I’m supposed to know what they will or won’t make more of? I don’t have access to Chipotle’s kitchen. How am I supposed to know what food they have or don’t have? Wait, more importantly, why is that my responsibility when I’m not employed by Chipotle? Shouldn’t that be the responsibility of the staff? 🤔 I guess I just don’t understand.
Mind you, Tijuana Flats is literally right next door and they have the most friendly, polite, and competent employees. And on Thursdays you can get a burrito bowl with guac, chips, and a drink for literally $10 cheaper than Chipotle. So Chipotle is banking on you paying a massive premium and in exchange you get to interact with rude and inconsiderate employees. Idk I guess I just don’t see the value...
Read moreLong story short: total time waited was 45 mins in the drive thru, “Chipotlane”. Ordered food on the app for pick-up at 9:10pm. Arrived at this location at 9:11pm. Waited in line with 1 person in front of me. I waited behind them for 15 minutes before they received their food. When I approached the window, the girl asked for my name and then said “hold on I’m going to go make it now”. After about 10 minutes of waiting, she came back to the window and asked me if she already asked for my name… I told her my name again and she didn’t have the food ready for an ADDITIONAL 20 minutes. After receiving the food, I had to ask for my drink in order to get it. By the time I left, there was probably 3-4 cars behind me waiting for this exact experience. After coming home, found the chicken to be burnt as seen in the photo. Although this is a new location and patience is expected, this was a total disappointment. I remained calm and patient throughout the whole process, however I’m not sure how the average customer would. I would NOT consider this as an option for Uber Eats drivers. The girl at the window was nice but did not have much customer service skills. No greetings or communication on the wait time. It appeared that I needed to just wait until the food was prepared. This is a huge opportunity for management to have this issue resolved, as it’s not the only bad review on here. Management should always be accountable for situations like this, as their regular employees are lacking in multiple areas. Hope to see this location do better in the...
Read moreThe thought of a good chipotle bowl is what got me through my morning work meetings, arrive at the new Apopka chipotle to be bombarded with dirty pans everywhere. The pans stacked everywhere was so much there was no room for the employees to prep or meet the lunch rush demand, I thought overlook it they are in the middle of lunch rush. So I stand in line waiting my turn just to watch the individual serving give half scoops of the rice, beans, meat, slinging it on the bowls and anything in sight, no cares to the person who would have to touch the finished product. A customer asked if there was anymore of some items to be told 10 minutes for black beans and 15 minutes for more barbacoa. The customer asked if they could get a few more brown beans and the server just walked away, no response and no return. Now I am about to walk out because the 2 main items I want are not going to be available in time for me to make it back to my meeting and watching the other customer interactions unfold just enforce my need to leave empty handed. The last thing i see as I head to the doors is a cook heading to the grill with fresh chicken, this poor unmaintained grill looks like it has not been cleaned all day, not one little scrape, not one little scouring pad used to remove the mornings meats. The black, burnt, food remains where it started before the doors opened. This is just the last item needed to confirm that the Sanford Chipotle 30 minutes away will have become my main...
