RicoPan Resturant Bar and Bakery Apopka — Restaurant in Apopka

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!!! We went there a Sunday after church and the customer service was terrible!! It was our first time a lady came out to our table and took the order in a rush when we finally got our food they brought us the wrong stuff. The attitude was terrible no professionalism at all we complained about the meat because it had no flavor & was under cooked. I had to cut my aunts meat because she had a stoke and she couldn’t cut it her self. She didn’t like the meat and neither did my niece when we told Isabella she got mad and the lady insisted that because it was cut that she ate it, we explained that with her condition we had to cut it for her and there was no empathy at all she didn’t want to discount it from the check and then gave me the wrong arepa and I didn’t eat it, I took a bite to see if I liked it (I didn’t so I didn’t have anymore) she still wanted to charge me for it since I “ate it” we told them it was our first time there and we received no apology for the bad treatment Isabella you have the worst attitude and terrible customer service you need some manners we asked for a manager she said she was, if she is the manager then WOW I don’t recommend this place at all and by the way Isabella you need a New plastic surgeon he did a terrible job on you girl, that’s probably why you are...

O.K. O.K. for those who are not familiar with the extensive Colombian bakery 'Rico Pan' in Apopka has a good review. But for those knowledgable with its pastries and delicious breads it is a different thing. Resently , their bakery items has changed in taste and ingredients; 1) their Colombian enpanadas ( beef paties), has more dough is like eating a ball potatoes , no shredded meat is used. 2) its bread with cheese ( loaf) it has changed, less cheese inside and the dough is yellow in color ( it use to be white in texture), indicating they are adding more eggs to it, less cheese. 3) they keep saying they are under new management but the owners are the same, well do not change the ingredients. Coffee its awful , under staff during rush hours, the varieties of breads was more abundant years ago. 4) make sure the baker is knowledgeble with colombian bakery this is not Walmart or Publix were all their breads taste the same. Please do not change the ingredients, lets go back...

This has got to be some of the worst food I have ever ordered, absolutely horrid and disgusting. Everything I ordered was stale, extremely low quality and just pure nasty. Appalled by this experience. I ordered an empanada with beef and potato filling, and got something that doesn’t even resemble an empanada, it looks more like a cat hairball or a dog vomit. Find a better place to eat, this ain’t it!

RESPONSE: I’m very well informed of what an empanada is and what is actually upsetting, is the horrendous disgusting careless low quality of your food overall, with everything I ordered. The fact that your employees are not even competent enough to put together the correct order should be a further concern for you. I know exactly what I ordered.
