Hobby Lobby — Local services in Apopka

I am an avid craft shopper and have always loved hobby lobby. The one located here though has a security gaurd that is just awful. Falsely accusing, abusive speech. He falsely accused me, officers even explained this, he still wanted me charged, fortunately their body cams showed his treatment of me, nothing on my person, and the prosecuting attorney dropped the case as soon as they were reviewed. He however still works there the last time I tried to go in. I've tried contacting corporate to no avail. Just know your rights before going into this particular one. Be aware of everything you do, since even brandishing what I put in my pockets was my cell phone and cash wasn't good enough. Do not keep you purse in the cart with their items, and don't let the security gaurd touch it. He literally removed items I had just gotten from my mother before heading to store (little pendants with tags) saying that was theirs. I couldn't prove otherwise even though I had the officer note that the brands are sold in other craft stores but the stickers on what was in my cart were different.

I should have denied access to my purse but when he removed the cart from me my purse was still in there. I was just overwhelmed that I was being accused of stealing and hadn't even gotten close to the registers or front door to think straight at the time. I am not confrontational and a domestic abuse survivor so in the moment my fear took over. I am very grateful for the officers and body cams.

This happened last year and I never planned write a review, but an email to their corporate after we went to court was responded to but never actually looked into. First and only time I shopped at this store was on a day they offered 50% off. This place is stuffed full of everything and anything you can imagine. Shelves packed and organized...WOW! The walls full of decor. All kinds of ideas to get the juices flowing. I could immerse myself for hours. I was there for a sheet of vinyl to repair my computer chair. It took me to walk aisle to aisle before finding it. I didn't notice anyone to help. The checkout lines wrapped around shelves... long, long, long wait. One woman passed in front of me three times; was there no other opening?... Annoying. I assumed she was shopping, while her mother stood in line. I really liked this one cashier near the entrance. She opened her register and directed customers one by one, in line to her right, to come to her register. A customer from another line, broke out of another line and tried to checkout at her register, but she was quick to say, she was taking customers in this line only! There was no fighting, pushing or complaining; all those crowds of customers, just waited patiently in line...Nice! I like the applications/benefits posted and available at the entrance. Definitely considering applying. I will return to see the entire store, but when less crowded to...
