Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Apple Valley

I went in around 6:45pm to pick up a sub for myself and for my 3 yr old. I tried ordering on the app earlier but it kept saying they couldn’t accept credit cards as method of payment?? Not sure how else I’d pay on the app. When I went in, there were no other customers. I ordered a #8 and a #31. The person at the grill started making my hot sub and the girl who took my order started making my cold sub. She immediately forgot what I ordered and had to ask again. I told her and she started slicing the cheese and meat. The cheese slices were acceptable but the meat was literally 3 little shreds of turkey and 2 little shreds of ham. I expected more, but didn’t want to ask since the girl already had a poor attitude. Another customer came in at that point to pick up an order. It wasn’t done and so the girl stopped working on my sandwich and started working on the pickup order. Once she was done with the pickup order she came back to finish my sandwich. I only wanted the bacon that was included and Mayo. The sandwich was so sad with it’s few shreds of meat (I know there weren’t other toppings, but I expect a decent amount of meat). The whole time, this girl looked like she hated life. She was very unpleasant, had a poor attitude and was tossing ingredients around like she didn’t care about anything. I added a drink, chips and a cookie. The girl who made my hot sub brought it over and the girl ringing me up asked if I got another sub. Umm, yeah. You took my order and here’s the other sub. When I finished paying, she didn’t give me a bag or the cup for the drink I paid for and she walked away. I’ve been coming to this location for years. It’s usually crazy busy and often slow, but the service is normally better than what I received tonight. I think it’s time to go to the other Apple Valley location. Writing this as I’m eating - Sub is delicious btw I would give a 5 star for the food alone. Taking 3 stars from the horrible employees that must be new. I literally come here all the time and it’s my favorite sub place here. The man who was slicing the deli was super nice and definitely should show the rest of the crew how to treat customers. He was a pleasure. As for the blonde lady, incredibly rude. I was in a hurry to bring food to my family so I saved her that embarrassment in front of the night rush. Rolling eyes and saying “uh huh” is super disrespectful after I thanked her for giving me the other half of my sandwich that I paid for. First, that’s my inconvenience not hers. From one hiring manager to another, your employees can destroy an establishment really quick and I suggest you make sure your employees treat your paying customers accordingly. I’m definitely going to give them another chance to prove me wrong since this place is my favorite. Definitely a bummer writing this but...

Great! This place has the best sandwich of any of the mainstream sandwich places. The real reason for this is just the high level of quality of the ingredients. The bread is really good, all the vegetables are very fresh, and the meats are really exceptional. They even roast the roast beef in house. Really excellent quality, and its shows in the freshness and flavor of the food. The staff are always very friendly, and helpful, I always enjoy coming here.
