This review is entirely due to a specific manager; all other staff have been pleasant, the location is beautiful, and convenient.
Unfortunately this manager (which should be used loosely) was beyond rude, demeaning, lacked literally any customer service, tact, or good sense... and has definitely tainted me going to this location again.
I was given a gift card at this location to comp an order that was incorrect. Fine, no problem - things happen. However, when I attempted to use it today it did not scan. I calmly explained why we were issued the gift card, and even suggested she look up my account to verify the previous purchase from just a week ago... but instead of doing what any adult person would do and talking to me with respect, comping the drink, or crediting the whole EIGHT dollar value to maintain a customer...
She instead yelled at me out the drive thru window, and at one point accused me of spending the gift cards and attempting to re-use the money. What? You think I have waited in this drive thru line for 12 minutes to swindle Starbucks out of $8? Had she focused more on being a "manager" and less on going toe to toe with me, then she could have easily deduced that likely the barista was busy, maybe did not activate the comped gift cards, and it was an honest mistake. But instead of using our minds to troubleshoot, lets accuse the customer of swindling $8 instead. This notion is utterly offensive.
Starbucks customer service was VERY helpful as I absolutely never do these kinds of things. Have I been shown bad customer service before - sure, but never to the point of being demeaned or talked down to... this was unfortunately not something I could let go of. The district manager should know the way in which I, and perhaps many others, have been/ are/ or will be treated, if they encounter this "manager's" unprofessionalism and lack of customer service. She was unnecessarily combative, and it is beyond ridiculous that she held up an entire line to argue with me. Read moreCame to this Starbucks drive thru yesterday and ordered my usual drink. I added 3 shots of hazelnut syrup to my drink and it came with none. Again, I have this drink ALL the time so I know how it taste. I walked inside the store to let the cashier know there’s no hazelnut syrup in the drink. She proceeds to ask one of the employees if she added hazelnut, the employee says yes she did. There’s an extremely long line in the drive thru, how can she be so certain that she did add it? Again, I order this drink all the time. Cashier offers no alternatives. I then ask if she could give it to me on the side. After she hands it to me, she takes it upon herself to offer me unsolicited advice about how I should ask for the standard 6 shots of a syrup to get the taste I want. I let her know that I order this drink all the time and I know how it taste and I don’t want 6 shots of syrup in it (the drink does not come with any syrup btw). Then she proceeded to laugh and say maybe try 4? So incredibly rude!! They also forgot to hand me my feta wrap I paid for in the drive thru, so I also had to walk into the store to get that as well. Read moreI just went to Starbucks to use my free drink and bagel and I asked if they had an everything bagel with cream cheese and I said because you were out of cream cheese yesterday..... she said we don’t have an everything bagel or bantam bagels but I have other bagels so I ordered a plain bagel and cream cheese but when my bagel was already made and toasted she said we are out of cream cheese and have two other options but I would have only wanted my bagel with cream cheese so she said she would refund me the cream cheese yet I also used my 50 stars on the bagel and cream cheese and she only refunded the cream cheese and I wouldn’t have even wanted the bagel with any other spread. I am disappointed because I love Starbucks and I wish that i could have been refunded my stars for both. I hope to not have this happen...
