Open from 8 to 2 week days, with a hand-made simple (but tasty) menu. I tried a good old tuna salad sandwich with cole slaw - which had excellent taste & was served promptly. The iced tea was strong & fresh too, but the reason I ran home to write this was the amazing dessert . . . BREAD PUDDING, and not the ordinary - but pumpkin spice. Warm, sweet, creamy, spicy, & just right after 18 hrs of fasting and surviving a needle jab in Labcorp. Take that Starbucks!
This spot requires a little ferreting out, since it's at the back entryway of the medical building across from the hospital, but it's a nice alternative to the pre-prepped hospital cafeteria selections. They are worth the search: service was great, and the calm atmosphere was very refreshing considering the medical location.
Saw lots of cold sandwiches in the lunch crowd, since it was past the breakfast rush which ends at 11 am. Also saw building staff in groups there for their lunch, which points to the consistency of their offerings. My photos from the cellphone to...

Read moreThe menu was small. For example, you can only get buttermilk pancakes and you dont have the option to add chocolate chips or blueberries. The way you ask your egg to be cooked does not matter because they will still be running. The people were nice but slow for not having a lot of people. The food was ok nothing special. Bacon was really good quality but the eggs are really really reallyyy greasy!!!!! Pancakes are better at any other breakfast place and the maple-syrup was real maple-syrup but was sup par and kind of watery..... I added pics of the egg and Bacon so you can see what I'm talking about. The walls are covered in art and there is a nice amount of room from table to table. The atmosphere overall is really nice. No, I would not go back here but I do have to say the...
