STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ASSAULTED BY THE MALE STAFF
I am writing to bring to your attention a deeply troubling experience I had at your Jersey Mike’s location on June 2, 2025, at approximately 1:00 PM. As a loyal customer since your store opened, I am disappointed to report that the unprofessional and aggressive behavior of your staff has led me and my family to decide never to return.
During my visit, the restaurant was extremely busy, which I initially understood. I placed my order, was told it was being prepared, but after waiting 10 minutes, a staff member informed me they couldn’t make my sandwich. Frustrated but willing to discuss, I returned an hour later when the store was calmer to speak with the general manager. Instead of a resolution, I was met with verbal abuse and alarming aggression from male employees, one of whom claimed to be the general manager. Their behavior was so hostile that I nearly felt compelled to contact the police for my safety.
After this incident, I reviewed your store’s feedback online and noticed a pattern of similar complaints, suggesting this is not an isolated issue. It appears that customer feedback may not be adequately addressed, as these problems persist. As a long-time patron, I am disheartened by this experience and the apparent lack of oversight.
I urge you to investigate this matter promptly, particularly the conduct of the staff, including the individual identifying as the general manager, to prevent further alienation of customers. I am happy to provide additional details if needed and can be reached at the below number.
Thank you for your attention to this serious matter. I hope you take swift action to restore the quality and professionalism your franchise once represented.
I had to find this email scrolling through the reviews because the “GM” told me if I want to file a complaint about the service I need to figure it out on my own… I have never experienced anything...
Read moreI placed an online order at 11:45 for a 12:00 pickup and arrived a bit before noon. The store was quite crowded, but I noticed several people coming in, waiting in line, getting their sandwiches made, paying, and leaving. After standing around for over ten minutes, I decided to join the line myself. When I reached the front, I informed the young brunette behind the counter that I had an online order and had been waiting. She responded rather rudely, stating that they were busy and that online orders had to wait until the in-store orders were finished. I pointed out that I had been waiting longer than many customers who came in after me. I suggested that I could simply cancel my online order and place a new one with her instead. She insisted that I couldn't do that, as she was prioritizing in-store customers. I reminded her that I was now in the store and in line. She then warned me that I would be charged for both orders, to which I replied that I would address the online order with corporate. The conversation became contentious, and she abruptly told me to be quiet so she could speak. At that point, I requested to see her manager. She claimed the manager was occupied, but soon after, he appeared from behind her, stating that he would make the sandwiches. I stepped aside to wait, and eventually, the manager handed me my sandwiches without saying a word. I have NEVER been treated like that in a restaurant. I understand lunch time rush is busy but change the online order wait times. It's not my fault the system has you backed up now. Another lady was waiting for her order next to me and said she couldn't believe how rude the girl was to me. She tried to cancel her order since she was waiting as long as me and they told her no that they didn't have time! Seems like the staff missed the training on...
Read moreThis Jersey Mike's is busy enough they don't have to care. Right off the freeway, plus tons of offices nearby.
Today was the worst visit so far. Typically, at this location, the workers are much more interested in their own conversations than caring much about your order. Today was the same, however, they couldn't even be bothered to care about the quality in the slightest.
I ordered two minis. One of the buns the guy originally grabbed hadn't risen properly--as were what looked like about half in the tray--and was consequently pale, flat, noticably smaller and not a basically not even a sub roll in that state. When I asked him to please change it out, he was unsurprisingly a bit rude at the huge request.
The line was a mess! First off, the guy putting on the toppings apparently couldn't be bothered to do the heavy lifting of scraping off the juice and fixings on the cutting board between sandwiches. I didn't want to complain, as I had already spoken up about the bread, but I actually had to ask him not to set my sub in the puddles of vinegar as he was about to do exactly that! Secondly, I have never seen such off-putting lettuce. At first glance, it looked like someone had already dressed it with juice, as it was so pink. But, it was simply not fresh or not stored properly and had turned that way. Yuck.
I wish the new location 92nd/Shea had easier parking, as they're a lot nicer and more contentious at that location. And, as I said starting this review, this location is very busy, and has proven time and again to not...
