Cons: takes FOREVER to get your food. All the reviews say it! Listen to them.
Was told to park around front and wait for my order. Couldn’t actually pull around to the front as the waiting line for food was backed up to the drive thru window. I Slooooowly moved forward. Finally, get to the front of the line and as the lady walks up, with two brown freshly creased McDonald’s bags with no grease spots developing on them yet, I am asked to pull into a parking spot to wait for my food. Boy did she get me, because I always thought that when you are in the front of the line, you were next to get whatever you are waiting for, especially when she is carrying items in her hands that should belong to you, but also because the people behind you, especially in a drive thru, did not get there as early as you nor did they order before you. So now I am waiting, in the parking spot now and I now watch the 5 cars that were behind me get their food and happily move on with their life, and yes it was 5 cars, I counted and would like to consider myself pretty good at simple math. Anyway, after another ten minutes and the parking lot has cleared out along with the drive thru line already being emptied, my order FINALLY comes out. You may be asking yourself, well, what did this guy order, must’ve been a BIG order. Or, maybe he ordered some mystery burger or chicken or fish that McDonald’s has never heard of or at least the employees have not. Maybe they were sitting back there in the kitchen, scratching their heads, trying to figure out how in the heck do we make what this guy just ordered. They then sat around and came up with multiple different ways to accomplish this brand new mission that this mystery customer has brought to them. Well, I was starting to question myself as well, wondering if what I had just ordered was a new and different menu item. I had to confirm my suspicions and see if I could give these employees the benefit of doubt. So, I took this to google and had to look up the menu for McDonald’s. There it was, surrounded by stars and sparkles (there may have been a halo as well hard to tell from how bright it was shining right in my face) and I could hear the McDonald’s theme song playing as it lit up on my screen and on the menu! A good ole #3! That is a classic double quarter pounder with cheese! I would like to think this is probably one of the top burgers ordered or at this point a new mystery burger. I could be wrong after this visit. Now you are probably asking, was it a special order, as with no ketchup or onions, anything along those lines. Maybe he asked for one patty to be a slightly different temperature than the other (could you imagine one of the employees getting that as a request)? NOPE! I wanted it and ordered it like it is shown on the menu with the picture. Keep it simple and HOPEFULLY get my food, FAST. Overall wait time, 35 minutes. But I did have time to write a review.
Unfortunately this place is close to me so it makes it convenient to come here and get food. This isn’t the first time that waiting a long time for my food has been an issue here so I should’ve learned my lesson.
Anyway, read all the posts about this McDonald’s before coming here. It may benefit you to go down a couple more exits, where you will find another McDonald’s, still slow, but also more “fast” food options that are much faster. But, if you have the time and are in a mood to hang out and stare at everyone else getting their orders before you, this...
Read moreSecond UPDATE What is happening at this location? There's never enough employees to take care of customers in the dual drive up and in the dining room when you don't want to spend the time ordering your food from a touch screen. I've waited 5+ minutes at the drive up when I was the first car in line. Tonight there was no one else in the drive up yet I was told they would be right with me. Ok no problem. But it is a PROBLEM when 2 other cars went through the other lane and I was told for a second time to wait!?!?! I've seen numerous people back out of the drive through and leave! The owner/owners better wake up before they lose more customers myself included. You can't run this place with 3 people who can't keep up when it's slow. I don't blame them I blame you for trying to operate with a skeleton crew. Nuff Said......
UPDATE: As with all things the prices have been steadily going up on almost a weekly basis. The sandwiches are getting smaller as is all the other menu items. The dollar menu is pretty much non existent, case in point the $.99 vanilla cone. It went up to $1.59 in one shot!!! That's a 60% price increase, totally unacceptable!!! Most items have gone the same way, up up up. I'll get my morning coffee there but that's all from now on. It's just gotten way outta hand when breakfast is close to $10 for one person. I realize that everything is going up in price but the percentages that this McDonald's is charging is just being greedy in my opinion. Especially when you consider that milk and sugar have been stable for quite a while which is what ice cream is made from so when McDonald's raised the price by 60% there's no excuse for it. When it comes to inside dinning, dirty tables and fly's don't make for a pleasant eating experience. There seems to be enough people working so there's no excuse for a dirty dinning room especially with the amount of fly's during multiple visits at different times of the day. The only positive thing I can say at this point is the staff is very friendly, well dressed, clean and helpful. The food is pretty good as long as you get fresh made items instead of what's been sitting for a bit. One day the Mcdouble is juicy and hot and the next time they are dry, barely warm and tough. Something needs to be done to bring back the quality of the food each and every time its ordered no matter what time of the day. These are my experiences and observation during a couple of dozen plus times I've visited this McDonalds in the past month. Not a very good experience to make recommendations to others that want to eat there. I'll wait awhile and give them one more chance. But I don't really think they will change when others simply pay the huge price increases and don't say or do anything about it. Lemmings will do that!!!
There breakfast burrito is pretty good long as you get the fresh ones. There coffee was surprisingly good in fact I'd say the best coffee in our area. It's good being able to get breakfast meals throughout the day. Other things on the menu are same ol same. Good if it's fresh and not too good when you get something that is close to the end of it's freshness "shelf life" but I will say if you do get something that isn't how it should be they will replace it without any issues. One more thing, I can't believe how expensive they have become. The cost of the average lunch is close to or more than eating in a sit down restaurant for a similar meal!...
Read moreI like to stop by for breaksfast during the week, never on the weekends because there seems to be no management & I've waited over 30 minutes to get my order. In the morning during the week i just tell them my name & they get my order out super fast. Lately when i visit, the manager (Michelle) refers to me by name as if she knows me on a personal level. I just had an argument with my wife upon leaving the drive thru because of how flirtatious this manager is & how much she addresses me by my name as if she personally knows me, and i honestly can't blame my wife because shes not wrong, these employees, especially the manager should remain professional and focus on the job, instead of learning & memorizing the customers name & speaking to them on a personal level. I understand about verifying my name for my order, but please do not continuously address me by name as if you know me personally.
Update: Wife could not let it go, called the store & asked The manager how she knew me, she explained that she did not know me personally & is following a new procedure from the new store manager, which is pretty absurd considering the fact that the employees who work nights & weekends can't even remember which parked car gets what order, or how to properly prepare a custom order. Now they're supposed to learn the customer's names?? I believe the new manager should focus on more relevant aspects of the job, because sometimes i would like a big mac meal in the evening and/or on the weekend after work, but i shouldn't have to give up 30+ minutes of my life waiting for it, only to get home & find onions or big mac sauce, when I specifically request my order be made without said ingredients. It is also hard to distinguish who is a real manager the times I've had to return my order because they are often wearing street clothing, big sweatshirts, t-shirts etc... I feel like they are crew members just dealing with me so they don't get reprimanded by real managment for their continuous mistakes. In my experience, real managers have always worn proper work attire & the fact that they don't have the proper manager uniform, tells me they are not real managers. It's unfortunate there aren't many options living so far, becuase I really don't care much for the breakfast, however, it is the only time I'm certain that I'll be in & out in a...
