It pains me that I now currently reside 12 miles away making it to where I cannot enjoy as much of what I would consider my favorite pizza place that Tucson has to offer. I have owed you all this review for some time...
The Benni Cheese Bread is fantastic; it has amazing flavor and a respectable amount of cheese on it, includes the optional marinara sauce on the side perfect to accompany every order. From their basic pepperoni to their Special (Pepperoni, ham, mushroom, green pepper, onion and extra cheese I like to add black olives as well), never had a bad pizza. Generous amount of fresh ingredients, a delicious texture and crust to savor, even my family and friends all concur. I have yet to try them, but their subs appear to be decently priced when comparing to national chains or other local pizza places.
Finally, the staff and delivery drivers are amazing! Always welcomed in with a smile and treated as a valued patron, I really appreciate the great attitudes and work ethic! Only a few tables with extremely limited seating on the inside more or less for waiting on pick up, but nice atmosphere for what it is and really this place is known for their pizza and service, not any sort of dine in experience. While living at Sonoran Terraces, delivery was always on point with accuracy and extremely courteous drivers.
Highly recommend what I would definitely consider a hidden gem...
Read moreFood was atrocious! As a well traveled American who has lived many places within the U.S. and abroad, I can honestly say this was the most bland and boring pizza that I have ever had. I had 2 slices and threw the rest of the pizza and wings away. Waste of $50. $3 frozen pizza at the grocery store tastes better than their pizza. Wings were awful too. They were over breaded and tasted like flour. Clearly no seasoning in the breading. Then they ruined an already ruined chicken wing by their hot sauce literally being Texas Pete hot sauce and red chili pepper flakes… but way too much red pepper flake. No flavor just hot for no reason. I can hands down honestly say that Pizza Hut, Domino’s, and Papa John’s have better quality pizza. And it’s a shame that major National chain restaurants and store bought pizza have better flavor than this place.
I feel robbed after spending over $40 on food and leaving a $10 tip.
Whoever wrote good reviews on this place, clearly have never been anywhere or have no seasonings in the cupboards in their kitchen. They probably think ketchup is spicy and put ranch dressing...
Read moreI went into Sgt. Pepperoni's right before the rush went full swing. I had to patiently wait a minute to get my order in, as expected around the dinner rush. They didn't have a lot of staff due to the establishment being a bit small, so the wait times you get make sense. I used to work at papa johns with the double stack oven, and even we had to increase our wait time to about an hour + or - depending on the day. The phones were ringing off the hook also and they were doing everything they could to keep everything on schedule. I've ordered delivery a few times off the eatstreet app and decided to swing by on a lazy day in person. The service was amazing and when I got the home the food was poppin. Suicide wings crispy and the right amount of sauce, the the major meat pizza pipin hot and delicious. Will definitely be coming. And if the owner reads this give my compliments to everyone there. Great work keeping...
