Absolutely Disgraceful. Not Worth a Dime.
I don’t know who’s handing out 5-star reviews to this place, but they either have no taste buds or have never eaten real Mexican food. Let’s break it down: • Lengua tacos: Dry, bland, and completely lifeless. Not even salt could save them. • Al Pastor tacos: Zesty in the worst way. Rubber-like texture and flavorless despite the punchy smell. Just… weird. • Chicharrón tacos: What even was this? Reddish-brown, soggy, and completely void of flavor. Offensive to the name chicharrón. • Nopales tacos: Somehow the best of the bunch — and that’s saying nothing. A 3/10 at best. There was something there, but it still managed to be flavorless. • Carnitas tacos: Embarrassing. Like someone boiled the pork and forgot everything else. No seasoning, no depth. Just sad. • Tripa tacos: Tasted like straight-up cardboard. No crunch, no crisp, just dry and awful.
Now to the sides: • Beans: Tasted like they were dumped straight from a can. Zero seasoning. Zero soul. • Rice: Dry, flavorless, and looked like it was trying to be quinoa. No color, no fluff, no point.
“Sabe a México”? My ass. This place is a mockery of real Mexican cuisine. The only thing they’ve nailed is the theme — and even that feels like a cheap costume over a soulless kitchen.
Shame on the owner for putting this out and calling it authentic. You’re not representing Mexico — you’re...
Read moreAbsolutely recommend this spot! I ordered a pretty complicated burrito, and they nailed it—exactly how I wanted it. The pozole verde tasted just like something my mom would make, and the fajita had real flavor (not just grilled meat with no soul!). The menu has a great variety, and the whole place feels super welcoming—like eating at a friend’s house. Bonus points for the ceiling tiles with funny Spanish sayings—they had us laughing while we waited. The drinks were on point and really rounded out the dinner. Definitely worth checking out if you’re open to trying something new...
Read moreFood is great! I love their concept and could not stop looking all the little details in the restaurant.
I am so happy to have found great tacos in town! Probably the best I have tried so far.
The people taking my order was very friendly and even suggested what to order, and I was not disappointed.
I will be back soon for sure! I just wish they had the option to leave tip with my card, as I never carry cash and it felt wrong to not tip...
