First, no one was at the hostess stand when we walked in on a Friday night at 7 pm. ?? No one greeted us. When they did show up, the didn't say anything. They didn't say hello. They didn't say anything. When we were escorted to the table the waiter showed up. The waiter didn't say anything. He stood there with a pencil and piece of paper like he was taking a order. We gave him our drink orders and he left. I ordered hot tea and water with lemon. He brought me a glass of water with a slice of lemon. As is my custom I fork my lemon to remove the juice and shove it to the bottom of the glass. It had already been used for the juice before it was put into my glass. I went to the buffet. I get a tidbit of everything. So I started with their hot and sour soup. I then decided to try clams for the first time. I also got a piece of baked fish, a chicken wing, a piece of cheese covered broccoli, and two steamed dumplings. I then selected a piece of tempura and shoved it into my mouth before getting another. It was hard and cold. The same with all of my food except the hot and sour soup. Trying not to disturb my husband and son's dinner, I went and asked for a manager. I told him my food was cold and I wanted a refund. I had to repeat myself. He didn't tell me if I was going to not be charged. He started in wanting to know which dishes. I went to show him which dishes but funny thing was - I went one way and he another. I know that doesn't make any sense, but I think he had the tables he wanted to check already in his mind. I would have waited for him to catch up, but I didn't want to be away from my family any more than I had to be. So I pointed to the food that was cold but he wasn't there to see it. So I went back to my seat. I still had yet to be told it wasn't going to be charged to my bill. So I continued to be pleasant with my family, not eating, and not knowing whether I was going to be charged. I finally asked for the manager again. He came to the table and wanted to know what was it this time. I said I was waiting to be told whether I was going to be charged. He exasperated said no, no. I already took it off your bill. When they gave us the bill, he indeed had taken my dinner off but after all of that, he still charged me for the hot tea that I...
Read moreHello I went to this restaurant tonight I saw online that it was closing at 9:30 I got there right about 8:30 or 8:45 I was surprised at around 9 that they started putting up the food I don't recommend going to this buffet.
I did give it a one-star because I believe that an all-you-can-eat situation you should offer the customer all-you-can-eat and felt that the staff mainly did not want to be there. Which is understandable I just think that they should change their closing time to 9 instead of 9:30 and I would have eliminated the problem.
The person that bust my table was polite and picked up the dirty plates on time and the atmosphere was nice I'm not going to go back to this establishment simply because I believe it's inhospitable to not offer your customer what they bought which is all you can eat and staying open another 5 or 10 minutes isn't much to do.
Also I feel that going to that establishment was as a person I was not wanted there basically my impression is there unprofessional and the as customer I felt that they were in hospitable. From my many years of working in the foodservice industry I learned that they had a amount of money that they made hourly and then they had a labor counting off on their hourly wages and they needed to adjust sometimes what their selves war for the hour as opposed to their labor and they would have to send people home basically before the end of the shift in order to compensate for the labor basically I'm not sure what the reasoning is to be unprofessional to their customers or rude. But typically in that scenario the person will justify their actions because of money because it's a business transaction and if that's the case they can always cut...
Read moreThe hostess, wait staff & manager are all INCREDIBLY RUDE. They tried to charge me for my 2 year old son, saying that he was taller than the 3ft sign they have up on the wall. My son was wearing cowboy boots & he has an Afro. I wish I had took pictures to show he just BARELY hit the 3ft mark WITH THE FRO & BOOTS INCLUDED. I told the hostess when she measured him my son is only 2 and pointed out the fact that he has cowboy boots on. We sat down with the rest of our family and ate & when it was time to go I found out they charged me for my son who ate nothing but a wing and some of my husbands ice cream. We asked the waiter why we were being charged for my son & he was extremely dismissive and blamed it on the hostess. The hostess made me leave the table where I sat with my family and bring my son to the front so he could be measures. This kind of upset me but I went with it anyways. When we got to the front they measured him again and I pointed out he was barely at the 3ft mark with his hair and boots included. Do you know this lady made me take my sons boots off and pull back his hair to prove he was under the mark?? I've never felt so embarrassed. So hear I am standing in the front of this busy restaurant having to disrobe my son and place his hair into a ponytail all for 5 freaking dollars. I asked to speak with the manager and he wasn't any better, he argued with me, kept calling my son a girl, and made me measure him again. I will never go back there EVER again! It's an hour later and I'm sitting at home typing this and I still can't believe how I...
