I had no problem with the food or the manager.
However, I had a major problem with the way we were treated while at the restaurant. We were celebrating my son‘s birthday, and the manager offered to place the cake inside the refrigerator, allowing us to have room at the table.
The food came out fine, but they forgot to bring out the three-year-olds food and we had to remind them what it was.
As we finished our meal, our plates from the appetizers, soups, and our entrées were still on the table, causing them to stack up. At one point as a waitress was walking by one of the soup containers spilled over onto the table, the floor and the gifts . The waitress did not acknowledge this situation and walk past us totally. Our waitress did not acknowledge this situation and went to bring us the cake which there was no room to put on the table. She places our cake on another table and informed us where it was. When she returned, I asked for a knife to cut the cake, and if she could remove some of the items off the table, due to it being absolutely no room to even put the cake down. Let her know open it and serve everyone.
The waitress removed some of the dishes, but only enough to put down the cake and there was not enough room to open the cake and definitely no room to put the place down. I took a picture of it and from the picture you can tell it’s only enough room to put the cake and we had to move all our dishes to the edge of the long side of the table just so we can open the box and laid on top of the dishes. There were still no room for us to have a slice of the cake with the plates on the table. There were four adults and one child. We were at a large booth.
It was really upsetting, I wanted to just take the dishes and move them to another table, but I didn’t like how that would look and I was afraid of embarrassing my family. I was a very upset and wanted to speak out, but I felt that I would not say it in the best way. If you need pictures, please send me an email and I will show you how ridiculous this table looks for people celebrating and trying to have a good time. I felt that the waitress had no respect for her job or the customers that she...
Read moreI took my sister and nephew here because they've never had P.F. Chang's before, and when I lived in Nashville I ate there a lot, but never found one in Atlanta, but now since I relocated to Arlington, TX I find it again which I'm happy about. It took almost an hour before we were seated, which she told us about 30 minutes. I actually had time to shop because they are located in a nice shopping plaza. The waiter I thought did a great job and I tip him handsomely, but my sister thought his service was just sub par. I ordered lettuce wraps, crab wontons, and my sister ordered egg rolls for an appetizers. For the meal I ordered Chang's spicy chicken with brown rice. The chicken was okay and the brown rice was very sticky but the taste was okay I guess. My sister didn't enjoy her meal at all, and said she wouldn't eat there again. She ordered noodles and salmon and halfway through her salmon it was very runny as if it wasn't done so she didn't eat the rest, but she tried to eat some of the full bed of spinach it came on because she didn't want to waste money. My nephew loved the lettuce wraps and the crab wontons and he said his meal was okay, but he wouldn't really eat there again because the taste of the meal was nothing special. To him it was something you could stop and get to go at a Chinese restaurant. My experience was nothing like it was when I lived in Nashville, TN over eight years ago. The food at the P.F. Chang's in Nashville was so good I ate there often and even my job at the time (Vanderbilt) treated us there often. I loved it so I couldn't wait to take my sister and nephew since they'd never eaten there before, but overall the food just didn't have that quality taste I use to love, but I did enjoy the waiters service. I though he did a great job making sure our experience was a good one...thanks Ethan. But yeah...I don't see myself making a trip back to P.F. Chang's in the...
Read moreI ordered curbside online they ask for make and model of your car and text you to text them when you arrive. I don't see any designated curbside spot so I.park in a spot infront of the entrance. I then message I.am here like it says to. The message responded we are getting you delicious order ready! Ok cool wait about 10 minutes something tells me that something is off. So I call and let them know I am out front. This is the response
What?? I dont understand what you are saying?
I repeat slowly I ordered a curbside order I waa just letting them know I was out in a front spot because they dont seem to have designated curbside spots.
Yeah I dont know why the website says curbside you gonna have to come in to get yo food.
I go in then speak to a manager Dave nice man who explains they aren't exactly set up for curbside but do offer it and if I ordered curbside online and call into the restaurant an employee would absolutely bring out my food. I then explain to Dave that the rude little girl behind the counter seems to tell his customers otherwise. I explain I order to go often and completely understand that not every place has curbside and I have no problem going in to pick up my order. But had I not called I would have been sitting there waiting. I'm literally in the business for one of the most well-known restaurants in the world and I understand even the most unpredictable of situations and am usually very understanding and if it hadn't have been for Dave's very sympathetic demeanor as good as their food truly is....I truly would have a bad taste in my mouth. This restaurant is in the Highlands with multiple other amazing restaurants around them to choose from so to have their guest service be so deplorable is I am sure embarrassing...
