Rice Bowl Sushi — Restaurant in Arlington

I really hate having to do this. The people that have been to this place before from years ago should know the previous owners were kind and respectful people. Very professional as well never had a problem before. I ordered a plate of orange chicken with fried rice and 1 egg roll through DoorDash last Friday. By the time I got my food it was close to closing hours. I ate the egg roll and was about to start eating the orange chicken. First bite into a piece of orange chicken and I couldn’t really bite it, it was hard to bite when I spit it out, I noticed the chicken was raw. Completely uncooked from the inside. I tried calling the place and the line sounded busy. I tried sending them a message through DoorDash privately to see what we could do about this, obviously I threw the whole plate away. Mind you I paid $20 for this order. I hadn’t heard anything from them so I decided to call them today. I explained everything to the lady that answer the phone. She didn’t believe me at first “because she cooked it herself” so she was sure that what I had experienced was not true! I told her it wasn’t about getting free food but I paid money for that food and it wasn’t fair that I hadn’t heard from them in almost a week. She asked me to stop by tomorrow to show her the pictures and I agreed. Then I get a call from the same lady telling me she was trying to figure out what had happened with my order along with her manager and that they think the issue was the delay from the DoorDash driver and that it wasn’t that the food was raw but it went bad in the process of being deliver. By far the worst and first bad experience I’ve had with this place....

Just found this place. We ordered our food to go and it was easy to find and well lit at night. The lady inside was very friendly and the food was packed absolutely immaculately! We were having a sushi date night on a lazy Friday at home with Netflix and pulled out the containers and saw all the beautiful appetizing colors. It was food for the eyes and the stomach! Could barely wait to dig in and kinda started to when we wanted to be sure to leave a review. This is hands down our favorite new find and our new sushi staple! Although we got several tasty appetizers to try as well. They seemed to have something for everyone so definitely a fun group spot. The fish tho was very flavorful and very very fresh! For something fun and light snacking we got the garden rolls. Lots of fresh veggies and a nice flavorful dipping sauce. Calamari was light with a nice sauce. The crab rangoon was fresh made and not the frozen stuff. The crispy pork was well seasoned and as advertised. Sushi we got the salmon roll, salmon avocado roll, spicy salmon, California roll, the dancing dragon roll (so pretty) and the 18 piece sashimi (just wow)! So much fun to eat and will...

I love this place so much I would like to share my thoughts. First I want people to know this restaurant is under new management. It's a family owned restaurant and everyone is very nice and service is excellent. The bad reviews are from the previous management! Not only are the services excellent, the food is excellent as well! From the presentation to the taste, all professionally done. The sushi items are a new addition to the already diverse Asian food selection including Chinese and Thai food! After I spoke to the owner to find out all the beautiful food in the pictures are actually prepared from their very own kitchen! The chef has years of experience at a 5 star restaurant. So naturally the next step is to open his own restaurant! Please take my words into consideration and try it yourself. And if you like it please spread the word.
