We love Rizzi’s
They have the real deal New York style Italian pizza and all their other dishes are well done with a consistency you expect from your local restaurant.
The bar caters to a local crowd of Arlington residents who have established homes in the community long ago and recents years who have migrating from every corner of Shelby County and abroad. All come to Rizzi’s frequenting the venue to relax and unwind with some good food and drink enjoying various weekly events, DJ’s and live music.
Rizzi’s has long supported locals musicians and provided a stage for local area artists to share covers and original tunes. Whether it’s singer songwriter, solo or band acts they have done and do it all.
Since we moved to the area it has been the go to place for us for grabbing take out and having some close to home fun. I love being able to catch live music right down the road getting a chance to hear live performances, meeting and talking to various artists and musicians
The staff is always attentive and Rizzi has a larger than life personality with an ability to gab with anyone and make em smile. This is a family friendly smoke free establishment with a nice smoker friendly covered patio out back with a large screen TV and bar that is often buzzing with activity like crawdad boils and corn hole competitions.
There’s something for all...
Read moreRizzi's is a good local Italian restaurant in Arlington, Tennessee. It's located off the beaten path not far from the historic old city of Arlington. The staff has been friendly and fast, there is plenty of seating and the food isn't bad. Their menu has expanded and includes a wide variety of notable favorites... bread and cheese sticks, fried pickles, chicken Alfredo and Marsala, Stromboli and Calzones and of course pizza (which includes their as advertised famous cheese stuffed pizza)
I'll say this, the dough has usually tasted like the dough I used to make from the prepackaged stuff you'd buy at the grocery. Its not all that bad, like the description might lead you to believe. Same for the pizza, Calzones or bread sticks. The sauce is a good base of your classic tomato, puree, olive oil, garlic, oregano, etc. Not amazing but not half bad. The toppings also don't stick out to me as being either fresh, distinctive or really cooked/prepped like I'd hoped. Like I said, it was OK!
If you haven't been here before, don't come with high expectations and I believe you'll find the evening most enjoyable. After all, you'll probably be surrounded by friends and family, having a glass of wine or beer, and all you need to do is choose you favorite Italian dish from...

I'll never eat pizza anywhere else in this area! I have a strong and undying love for Rizzi's and the family running this amazing place! From diamond in the rough hole in the wall pizza cafe just starting out all the way to Rizzi's Pizza Café and The Paradiso Pub! This once diamond in the rough has been transformed through time and an immense amount of effort into the shining diamond it's always been to the family and friends closest to it.....including me. My husband's born and raised in Chicago and after a few days of my pestering and convincing he finally came to try my favorite pizza in my hometown. I am not surprised but happy to say that he too will eat pizza in one and only one restaurant in the south. Rizzi's! He was shocked and I was thrilled that we no longer had to wait until a Chicago visit to get pizza. If you are a pizza snob like be and I because you know what true pizza is and should be then this is the place for you. If you are a Pizza Hut or Domino's fan.....well all I can say is try this.....you will...
