Cazadores Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Arlington

A year ago I gave this place 5 stars. The food was good and the service was good. Since then the food has been slipping and so has the service. We went in there last night and the waitress never brought the water we asked for nor did she ever come back and check on us throughout the meal. We had a beer and a pinata colada and the waitress seemed to question us both having an alcoholic beverage. I had the steak rancheros which was supposed to be a sirloin steak in a rancheros sauce. I have had it there before and it was delicious. Last night it was a very grisly piece of meat with enchilada sauce on top of it. We also had the chimichangas. They were very dry and we never saw the waitress again to ask for some salsa to put on it. As we were starting to leave we finally saw the waitress to ask for the check. Terribly, almost all of our order was wrong. Just my food is right. We talked and pointed out what we wanted on the menu and asked questions about the food, so I really don't understand why everything was wrong. I ordered a lot of things for my daughter because he loves Mexican food but the order was all wrong. I think we were attended to by the manager or owner. she didn't seem to be familiar with the menu. As soon as the food arrived my husband and I saw that everything was wrong, I even said, "Sorry, but I think there was an error, this is not our food", the staff (not the same who made our order) she checked our order and she said that it was right, my husband then said "Okay, fine thanks" He was afraid to return the food and someone in the kitchen sabotaged our food. Price ranges are reasonable, nice portions, flexible with how the food is prepared, free chips are nice and crispy, service is quick (although we were the only people there) salsa tastes fresh - a little watery and not that spicy though; they do have watery or soggy food however even though the food tastes good and the flour tortilla on the vegetarian taco was completely soaked and soggy - also the filling inside of it was mostly peppers and onions and lacked any solid protein - the menu can be hard to order as it doesn’t take balanced meals into consideration and many of the dishes are very heavy in meat like beef and do not have a balance in food groups - they also do not honor the deals listed on their website - waitress said she’s never heard of the deals listed on the website and even after she checked with the manager denied...
