Another location with terrible Sunday service.
The heavyset white girl who works the register plays the insolent, passive-aggressive, 'I-refuse-to-make-eye-contact-with-you-even-once-during-our-transaction-to-demonstrate-my-contempt-for-you' game, looking down and away the entire time.
And because she does not make eye contact, and does not listen, she messes up a transaction that even a kindergartener could perform successfully, transforming an order for a latte into a drip-based drink.
I stand there and stare until she finally looks at the customer, and says dismissively, "The drinks come out over there," as if I did not know that.
What did I do to deserve such poor treatment as a customer, and a human being? I have smiled, been polite and respectful during the entire exchange, never once speaking down to anyone.
How can this be tolerated as a norm here? What a horrible culture.
At least the drink-maker was pleasant enough, but no thanks, I'll make my own, because it's not the coffee alone that makes the markup worth paying, it's supposed to be the service.
Why ever return to such a place? Bad person, bad people.
$tarbuck$, you really need to help find these malcontents a more suitable vocation.
P.S.: This location has been terrible forever. Even going back 13 years--it was bad then, too. And the creepy-types that hang around never seem to leave, either. Being such a wealthy area of the country, it's a very strange sort of homeless vortex...
Read moreI don't like to give a review, but I was late to work due to the lackadaisical service this morning, despite ordering online way in advance. There were probably 20 other customers just standing around waiting for at least someone's name to be called so the queue can get moving, but it took forever and there were like 7 baristas. I always give the benefit of the doubt but the slowness felt deliberate. They were nice but slow, and it felt almost passive aggressive. Only one barista actually looked up to read the room, assess the crowd forming, then adjust speed accordingly but she seemed swamped. The other baristas seemed completely oblivious and not once looked up. Probably because they know they were being very slow and didn't care. At that point, there should be one barista handing out gift cards. I and several other people were late to work. Some people ended up accepting less than what they ordered because they were late. I feel like a clown already paying $7 for coffee, but it's the convenience factor I'm paying for, yet it is more trouble than it's worth. To avoid this, I order online way ahead of time so I can grab and go, but several times now I keep having to wait. Maybe Starbucks should ban large orders and frappuccinos before 10am. Big...
Read moreUpdate: I wanted to update my review to say that this location has continued to be amazing in the year since I posted this feedback. I go to this store about once a week and the staff really are so friendly, helpful, welcoming and they get my drinks done quickly and correctly. I even reached out to Starbucks customer service to let them know that the employees at this location do such a great job. It really is a treat to stop into this store and it makes my whole day brighter. Having kind staff makes all the difference. I have been to some other locations where they have mean people working, so having kind and upbeat baristas is such an amazing experience. Keep up the good work!!!
I love this Starbucks location. I live right nearby and it's a pleasure to come here. The staff are friendly and attentive and my mobile orders are always ready to pick-up when I arrive. All my drinks have been made perfectly, aside from one time they gave me normal milk instead of oat milk. Other than that it has been wonderful to come here. They sometimes have odd hours - so make sure to check they are open before walking all the way there or ordering there. During Covid, they were closing at around 3 pm which was very early. I think they are back to a normal 6...
