I was really excited about the reviews on this place! We live in the area and wanted to explore something new. When I called them I felt more excited because the person who answered the phone was really friendly and the customer service was fabulous. However, I was disappointed by the Taco Plate. I ordered a variety of their meats to try the majority of them and they were ok. The best was the brisket meat. The taco meat was a little dry. The tortillas were a bit crunchy. The cilantro and onions served were enough for just two tacos out of the five. The order came with only two little pieces of lime for a 5 taco platter. If you meant extra salsa you will need to pay additional. We also ordered aguas frescas but they are not homemade. The Jamaica and horchata tasted like the powdered drinks you buy at the grocery store. I would rate customer service a 5-star for sure, and this matters greatly!Unfortunately the taco plate was not 5-star. The beans were not great either, I couldn’t eat them. My husband made the beans work with the rice and adding some of my homemade salsa. Overall the place looks very clean, customer service is great but the taco platter, not the best I’ve had. It wasn’t cheap either 😬. It was ok but based on the price I would have expected...
Read moreSo this was our first time this visiting this taco shop we love to visit different taco shops. Upon arrival everything seemed okay there was a customer ahead of us who seemed unsure on what she wanted however the cashier seem to rush her with choosing. She wasn't real specific on elaborating on the products that the woman was questioning. However someone came from the back he looked like he may have been a cook and he began to take our order's. He seemed also to be in rush mode as if he had some better things to do than to take orders I'm not sure. Once served I will be honest as always on my reviews good or bad we were not happy I specifically ordered the Birria tacos I do know how the Birria tacos are made and I received regular tacos. The rice was very Bland no seasoning we will not return to this place I will not recommend this spot to anyone if you go here bless you. I hope they work better on their customer service skills because it's very important especially where they're located. They need to have understanding that this is a diverse area so diversity is what will come to your business and keep your...
Read moreLet me begin by saying if you find a taco spot that dishes out POZOLE OR MENUDO on the daily, you're pretty much golden in DFW! We had just finished with our state inspection by UTA and got hungry. Found this little hidden gem on Google so decided why not? Saw some pics online of the al pastor on the pit or as we call it trompo which got us HYPED for tacos. My wife got a small bowl of pozole which she was excited for on a Tuesday, as you can tell by the pics they are NOT shy with their meat in their pozole (which was delicious btw) as well as 2 steak tacos. I went for their taco special which consists of 5 tacos and a side of beans for about $10, you can mix your meats which is a huge plus. The staff is hella friendly, attentive and prompt, I hope people give them more of their business because they deserve it. Only downside is that they are kind of hidden from the main road which is Cooper St. Will definitely visit again as our food was delicious, good atmosphere, and great service. COME ONE, COME ALL and get your...
