I was saddened by the service received. Having just gone under a medical condition, Thai food seemed appealing. Got out of bed and drove to pick up my order. Once home, the beef was extremely overcooked. Really, it was burnt! I was not happy with the poor quality of the food. I decided to call the restaurant and speak to the manager and request a refund. Zha-Zhu said the manager was NOT but asked if I wanted my order redone. I said no, that a refund would do. She said she would return my call in 5 mins after reaching out to the manager. The call back was just a NO! The invoice attached specifically says to call, with changes, cancelations, or REFUNDS. Had I eaten at the restaurant, I would not have paid for the subpar food, but since it was a pick-up order, I was stuck with the awful food. I trusted I would get something since they specify this on the receipt, but that too is a lie. I WILL NOT BE EATING HERE EVER because of the bad service! Awful.

I ordered the Pad See-Ew and yellow curry a few days ago. While I enjoyed the flavor of the dishes, the serving of steamed rice is the smallest I've ever seen in my history of takeout orders. Just be aware of that as you order. You'll either need several servings of rice from them at $2 for each additional side or cook some rice at home to accommodate the serving of curry you receive. I didn't want to knock off any more stars since the dishes were flavorful but I seriously can't get over how tiny the rice portions were. Would order again but opt for options that are not served with any variations of rice as a side dish.

Friendly, courteous, & attentive!! Today I dined in at “Taste of Thai” restaurant for lunch; the service was excellent & the food was even better!! Once I decided on what I was going too have for lunch, Crab Wontons,, Tempura fried Vegetables, & Chicken fried Rice, I placed my order & within 5 minutes my appetizer was on my table; within 5 minutes of that my Main Course was served (with a smile 😊)! Thanks Prazu (our server) & “Taste of Thai” for an amazing lunch experience! See you soon 😉! Oh, I added a “Mango Sticky Rice” to go!!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Do NOT recommend. Has a rodent problem.

I met my friend for lunch here on 11/3. We walked in, the place looked clean. We ordered our food. I had the yellow curry rice, which I really enjoyed. We were sitting there talking after our meal when a mouse came out from behind the counter. It sauntered across the restaurant, decided to investigate my friends feet, and then acted like it owned the place as it headed toward the bathroom. I screamed when I saw it and then went silent in disbelief and shock. I told the two employees that we had seen a mouse, just in case they had misunderstood my scream. They seemed completely unbothered. They half heartedly apologized, and acted like I was over reacting. I asked for my money back and they said that didn't know how to do that.

As we were discussing payment the mouse sauntered out from the bathroom area, made a lap around a couple of empty tables. This was not a fast moving mouse that was scared and out of place. This was a calm, but not drugged, mouse that had been here before. I screamed again when I saw it. The two employees, my friend, the other two diners in the restaurant, and myself watched the mouse walk around and go under the prep/storage table like it was going home.

After we all watched the mouse go under the prep/storage table there was no denying that there was a mouse in the dining area. The employee started apologizing, saying that "We have not seen a mouse in here before this morning." (This was afternoon time). All of a sudden, when they did not know how to process my refund before, they miraculously decided that calling the owner was a good idea. The owner knew how to process my refund and give me my money back. Which they did.

I know all food establishments battle rodents. However you SHOULD NEVER EVER see one! If you see one rodent, you know there have to be a lot more that were not brave enough to come out.

Interesting mouse fact: A female mouse can have up to 10 litters per year, with each litter containing 5–7 babies. The young can start reproducing after about two months. In no time at all the mouse population has grown exponentially.

The lack of concern by the employees and the owner is greatly disturbing. Eat here at your own...

Paid $16.10 for an order of tempura vegetables and veggie fried rice. The tempura vegetables tasted okay, didn't care for the onion and I love onions. The veggie fried rice extremely greasy, made me sick. The lady at the register when I entered the building was extremely rude and of no assistance. She didn't even answer the phone when I called to place a to go order. I wasn't assisted or offered a drink. Two other groups enter the building and was immediately assisted. Than the friendly male waiter came and assisted me with my order and accommodate me with vegan options. He said it would take ten minutes. I placed the order at 11:18. I went to pick up the order about 30 minutes later and the food wasn't ready. I wasn't offered a drink or even informed it would be a minute. The rude lady was at the register and didn't acknowledge me. Two of the workers was informed of the spill on the table and I was waiting for soy sauce. TOOK FOREVER!!! The lady whose face I will not forget was extremely rude and even approached me as I was sitting and waiting for to go sauce to ask me to leave since I had a to go order. I informed her I was waiting for soy sauce as well as napkins to wipe the table. She came back with wet bags, a towel and the sauce. The bags smelled as if they had cleaning products on them. I didn't get a salad with my order even though I paid the same price as everyone else, even the to go order before mine. Ohh and after placing my to go order I was going out to my car, the guy stopped and asked if I could pay since I was leaving. Well any other to go orders doesn't pay till they pick up. Oh well, I paid for the meal ahead of time. I do not recommend this place.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!

I went to speak to the owners, but Michael wasn't there and the rude lady I encountered at my first initial visit is Nina. Even though I informed her I was there to speak about my visit her reply was Michael will be here...

The ONLY reason I tried this place was due to the number of good reviews. I’m left pretty disappointed and scratching my head wondering if any of the reviewers have ever had a decent Thai meal in their life! I ordered the spicy beef salad and pad Thai. The salad was not even as described on the menu. The beef was chewy and the thought of “is this even beef” did cross my mind. It had a plethora of random ingredients thrown in not common for spicy beef salad- raw bell pepper slices, huge chunks of raw carrots, baby corn and so many gigantic chunks of every variation of onion it dominated the dish. After picking through all the extra unexpected ingredients I found TWO slices of cucumber and one large piece of wilted lettuce that everything was plated on top of. Spicy beef salad is SUPPOSED to be thinly sliced beef with red onions, cucumbers, tomatoes and a chili lime dressing atop a bed of lettuce. Their menu read the same as what I just described I got something entirely different and was very disappointed. The pad Thai was so-so. It lacked any flavor at all was very bland and seemed to be thrown full of bean sprouts to bulk it up instead of actual noodles. I wanted to find something closer to my new home but will most definitely stick with the gem I found when I first moved here, Thai House on Cooper. There is ZERO comparison AND it’s cheaper! I spent $23 on a disorganized onion dominant salad and pad Thai made mostly from bean sprouts. For that I could’ve gotten the crispy spring rolls, fried rice or pad Thai and sticky mango rice dessert at Thai House. Basically- this place sucks and I’m absolutely clueless on how it’s so well reviewed,...
